Rebecca,
Our driveway was the target of many drifts and Hubby got tired of that so he puts up a double snow fence that keeps a lot of the snow from drifting on the driveway. It's ugly but it works. He was going to take it down about a month ago and told him to wait until the ground warms up enough to get the poles out of the ground easily. It snowed 2 days ago and the fence caught quite a bit of the snow. He told me I was smart for telling him not to take it out yet. lol

I do enjoy seeing it snow... it's the shoveling afterward that becomes harder and harder.

Oh, but I like snow... for a while!

Pammi

Nah! I'm too hot to even hold a camera besides I would have to walk away from the air con and that could take a bit too much effort Rebecca. ♥♥♥♥

RebeccaB

Feel free to send us a picture of sunny hope. :)

Pammi

Not fair! Not fair! Rebecca we are roasting here and you have to put this wonderful example of beautiful cold weather in front of me. Never mind. Just remember, every day from now on brings you that wee bit closer to glorious Spring. ♥♥♥

Oooh, ice is nasty! Luckily I don't have to go out so I keep busy with my yarn and wait for sun. Most of our snow comes in spring, so I expect more of these scenes. Take care!

I am so sorry. We have had multiple snow events but each has been minor and melts in a couple of days. Just one resulted in shoveling. We did have an ice event that lasted for several days. It left our deck a slip and fall risk. The salt left a residue.

When we have wind, the drifts always seem to pile up in front of my garage and front steps, so thanks for reminding me to be glad we have no wind today. :)

We have wind today. No snow. But at least the sun's out. Sorry Rebecca!

Hi Anne, yes it's a series of storms every other day or so, so shoveling feels like running on a hamster wheel. And underneath it's very heavy & wet, so I can only take small "bites" at once - I don't complain if it's light & powdery. Oh well - I try to remember that when I got my terminal diagnosis years ago (so wrong!) my first thought was "I've seen the beauty of snow for the last time." This too shall pass. :)

Oh, my. I know we've got winter storms as a warning for Monday PM through Wednesday AM....YUCK is exactly right!
