Thanks Ginni, I love them too, for their color ofcourse, but also for their personalities. They're great to watch :))

schutkleur

We must sound about the same then keolson11, when speaking German :))))

Ginni2

I do love your robins. Such a nice splash of color to brighten up the puzzle. :-)

keolson11

I do speak German. I took classes. When I was cross country skiing in Winklmoos-Alm, people thought I was from the Netherlands because of the way I spoke German.

schutkleur

Thank you canoekaw, I thought so too :))))

schutkleur

Thanks for the info keolson11, I take it this means you don't speak German?? :)

canoekaw

It is a very neat image with the snowflake on his face.

keolson11

Half German, half Welsh. My Germans came through Castle Garden Immigration in the 1860s to the USA. The Welsh in the 1830s. I thought that the Welsh just came but it looks like they had to enter through Castle Garden too since all my relatives came in through New York. Here is what I found for Castle Garden: 11 million immigrants from 1820 through 1892. In 1892, immigrants came in through Ellis Island.

Are you German keolson11??? Rotkehlchen is right. We call it roodborstje :))

schutkleur

He sure is Anne, I love these little guys.

keolson11

'Ich glaube in Deutschland das ist Rotkehlchen.' I saw a bluebird today in New Jersey where we now have snow on the ground. We have them in winter here as well as summer.

Atsutsa

Oh, he's a cute fellow....looks like it's time to study those snow flakes. Take care.

schutkleur

Thanks keolson11. It isn't though, it couldn't be, we don't have bluebirds. I live in the Netherlands, this is a European robin :))

keolson11

That looks like a bluebird to me.
