Why are you reporting this puzzle?

Because my seeds have wings, you know,
They fly away to earth;
And where they fall, why, there they grow—
New Sycamores have birth!
Perhaps a score? Oh, hundreds more!
Too many, people say!
And yet to me it’s fun to see
My winged seeds fly away.
(But first they must turn ripe and brown,
And lose their flush of red;
And then they’ll all go twirling down
To earth, to find a bed.)

This fairy looks such a cheeky little chappy! Like Bubble, I love the colours, too. As children we were always fascinated with the little 'helicopter' seeds that spun round & round til they met the ground.

Thanks @Bubble :). Hope you have a good weekend!

Hi Alison,
Glad to see sycamores are still around - I remember them as pretty large trees. Young fairy has plenty of room to grow in his tunic and the colours are great thanks - :-)

Wounderfull, we have trees across the road to us that have winged seeds no idea what species but I have to clear them every year from my front garden else I would have all these trees growing and they are as big as the Sycamore. ( they may be a kind of Ash tree.).

Thank you. They were all beautiful and I really enjoyed them.----------------Molly

How awesome,,,.Wado (Thank You )
