It is, dbnc. On the other side of this retaining wall there is a dirt road, on the other side of that is a hill on which there is a house. That dinghy belongs to the son of the people who live there and he can come down any time to take it out rowing. Lucky lad!

Jacki, I think the word you're looking for is "dinghy". "Dingy" - with a soft g - means "gloomy and drab". Unless you were making a pun because everything is in shadow... :-)
