You are so right Suzy!
Great capture.

From what I have just read in a news article, Zion is among one of many National Parks being almost overrun by visitors. To hear that people have fistfights over a parking space is beyond my comprehension.
How lucky we were to have seen so many natural places in their "youth".
Let us all be aware of the footprints we leave on places we visit and may we all tread gently so all can enjoy the peace of nature.

It looks like a monestary in some exotic foreign land -- like Tibet, maybe. My aunt and I stopped there in 1958, but only for an hour or two, we missed this part completely.

It's a spectacular park, isn't it Sandi? So nice to hear you enjoyed it. When we were there ( 1994) it was SO HOT that we opted to stay in a Bed and Breakfast instead of our tent. We were able to do lots of exploring in the park, walked the Narrows a bit, and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Perhaps this winter I'll get around to digitizing our slides from that part of our trip. Enjoy your day!

Happy birthday, Zion National Park. It's been 50 years since I visited you and left with lovely memories and a few pictures. Thanks, Suzy.
