Hi Linda, I did create another puzzle with family of my daughter and her son and husband. I did put also the photo of our new cat-Ofelia, she was with my daughter, but her husband is allergic and they have two cats without hair. And my answer for the language between my husband and me- my husband was born in Argentina, but we have lived in Italy for 10 years and so we speak italiano.
Grazie, Milena. A lovely photo. I found it and solved it and left a message for you on that puzzle.Saluti and hugs. ♥☺♥
Hallo Linda, I did create one puzzle of my daugter Anita Laura, I hope that I will create more puzzle of my family and the place, where we live. Saluti Milena
Thank you very much for the birthday wishes on Ank's card to me. It's nice to hear from so many Jigidi friends. Marilyn
Oh Arthur, thank you so much for this! You gave me a big laugh. It's really most appreciated! ♥☺♥
Happy Birthday Linda!!You have a Tenstar Puzzle:http://www.jigidi.com/created.php?id=AMO31BBA
Thanks, Rita, it's good to see you back on Jigidi and many thanks for your kind wishes. I'm recovering just fine and looking forward to having the stitches removed on Tuesday. I really hope that you're doing well too after your very long period of being restricted in your movement. I'm enjoying watching little Bella's antics, and it's so nice to see those toys again. I still miss darling Micky, though, she was very special. All the best, Rita, I wish you well. ♥♥♥
Linda, I have not been on for a few days and am seeing where you had your gallbladder removed surgically. I am sorry that you were having pain from your gallbladder. It is an organ that works so well, until it doesn't and then there is nothing much to do but take it out in order to feel better. I still have mine but know many people who have happily given it up. Hope you have good continued healing and can get back to doing the things you would rather be doing. Love, Rita
Thank you, Bren, how very kind of you. This was my first op ever, so I've been very fortunate. There's nothing like spending a couple of days in hospital to make you realise just how lucky you are. I'm feeling fine so reckon I'll be back to normal very soon. Thanks again for your kind wishes. ☺♥☺
Great to see you back - I hope you are making a very successful and speedy recovery - you have been missed!!
And so do I ,Linda, actually I have lived without it since 1993 and am all the BETTER for it..fewer problems and no pain !You're welcome dear friend.♥☺☺♥☺
Thank you, Andie and Lia, for your kind wishes. They are much appreciated. You're right, Lia, I didn't have much of a chance to procrastinate as I normally would have done. Now I'm just glad that it's over. I can live without a gall bladder. Thanks again for caring. ♥♥♥
Good that you are back Linda.I hope you get over your operation soon. A sudden illness and unexpected hurry-up operation must be very scary. On the other hand you had little time to get scared... !!Hope you will feel well!
Linda ,so you are back ! I'm so glad you're feeling better . I posted a rose from the Abbaye of La Benisson-Dieu for you this morning.Have a good day.:-)))
Hi Linda! Just inviting you over to meet the new bear on the block! Dear Jiggybelle sent me over Ted ( the x rated bear of movie fame! ) and I thought you might care to join us! Hester :-)
Thanks, Rita and Bren. ♥♥♥
I agree - no publicity, no photos! That would not make for good viewing - though it could produce some interesting puzzles - Sexyshoes glorious shoe puzzles would be tame in comparison!I'll stick to quaffing champagne on the beach surrounded by my good friends and Micky keeping away unwanted intruders! Only J-list people are invited ♥♥♥
You are so right Linda. Don't want any pictures of me in my bathing suit. Micky had better be ready to bark like mad as soon as the champagne pouring is over. You know, if we drink enough of the champagne, we won't care what happens afterwards!Maybe we should stick with the original idea of staying out of the water and drinking the champagne from the bottle. I don't know how your beaches are but we have lots of sand. (Actually everything is sand including our yards.) I am not big on grit in my champagne.
Thanks for the laugh, Ank dear. ♥♥♥But darling Micky will have to get her timing exactly right. As you said, as soon as the champagne part is finished. But please, not a moment before - or after.Perhaps dear Micky could also frighten off anyone with a camera (except you). I certainly don't want photos of my unsightly blubber to find their way on to Jigidi. I'm sure Bren and Rita don't either.♥♥♥
I'll tell Micky to bark them away, as soon as the champagne part is finished. ☺☺☺
Thanks, Bren and Rita, for my good laughs. You are so amusing. I love the idea of being showered with champagne, but am not as keen on the idea of being pushed back into the water by hundreds of compassionate Filey whale-lovers. Maybe we should let them pour the champagne over us and then own up, reveal our true identities and beg for mercy. Or, our original idea, just stay out of the water to avoid attracting all this unwelcome attention.
Oh Bren I love the idea of champagne being poured on us rather than water and the whale song has me laughing as I reply. We could really get a lot of attention and cause quite the stir. Think of all the people that would include on your birthday celebration!! Oh and, by the way, I love lobster! This airbus is going to be traveling around the world just to collect all of we jigidi friends, I can hardly wait!
Caviar... fresh Filey lobster...champagne...ice cream!!As for the beached whales - they'll think we are a stranded pod and hundreds of people will come and pour water on us (champagne please!) and try to push us back into the water and if my singing is anything to go by they'll think it is whale song!!
Here's the link: http://www.jigidi.com/puzzle.php?id=O86F27VWI've just spotted that Bren is thinking of chartering an A 380, not an A 320. More legroom, very considerate. We prefer to travel in style. ♥♥♥ ♥♥♥
No, no swimming for me either next year. Beached whale number three. The local press would be full of lurid reports and photos of a lot of flab and blubber. The story would run and run (rather like all the comments on the the various Jigidi pages relating to Bren's birthday). Ank, thanks for offering to do the swimming for us. But you'll have to rehearse that Mozart aria. Don't worry, no one will hear you and Jigidi is a very quiet place anyway (and we're very grateful for that).Bren, I know your Indian chef will cook some wonderful dishes for us. Does he know how to cook a Filey lobster? I hope so.Rita, I'll join you as a spectator watching all the fun. By the way, I read your message on Ank's message page about your biological father. A sad story indeed, but a story which ultimately had a happy ending for you and your mum. And thank you, too, for all your kind words of thanks for my updates on Ank's progress while she was hospitalized. They were very much appreciated.Girls, did you see that Bren is going to charter an Airbus 320 to collect us all next year and fly us to Filey? I can't wait. I think we should hold her to this rather rash promise.I'll post the link after I've posted this comment so that you can all see that we are all invited. The puzzle is a wonderful photo of Bren's Filey lobster sizzling on a barbecue. Mmmmmmm.Enjoy.♥♥♥ ♥♥♥ ♥♥♥
Thank you Chita! All the more to cuddle and hug!
OH, I just looked at the leaderboard and see you do have a 10 star puzzle for your birthday. Not much else we can do to make it better!
Well Brie, if the beached whale is a concern, then either I will join you and they will think they have 2 beached whales or we will both stay out of the water!! Glad you had a super birthday!
It is going to be even better than this - if that is possible! I won't do the swimming - they'll call out the coastguard to re float a beached whale! I'll stick to singing and cooking. I'll get the guys at the Indian to cook some dishes and bring them down to the beach.
I hardly can wait until next year, you can be sure we will swim and sing together. Er... maybe I better don't sing, mostly people start to run away. ☺ So I do the swimming, Linda does the singing and the swimming Bren takes care for the food and drinks, All we need more is a campfire and a guitar.Pat, I heard the same last week in the hospital. I answered that I don't mind, I will wear it anyway. ☺ ☺
Chita - I am so glad you came - it was so much fun :o)))
I did my part for the birthday party. Only need one more star for Bren to have a 10 star puzzle for her birthday! Glad you enjoyed your day.
Cold water and a bikini 'wedgie' - you would be off the range of human hearing - aren't you glad my birthday isn't in December!!You can not begin to imagine how much I have enjoyed my Jigidi birthday! It has been such a change from all the nastiness - but this is truly what it is all about - fun, love and great friendship!Ank - after my hysterectomy (who invented that stupid name - it isn't hysterical at all!!!) I had to hold myself when I laughed - or coughed - but just be careful - we don't want you back in hospital because you came undone through laughing - even though it is better than crying :o)We'll do the 'Flower Duet' from 'Lakmé' - mind you, after last night's copious amounts of Kingfisher it might be the Drinking Song!
You can laugh, Ank. Just hold a pillow over your tummy. It helps. Mine was open for over 2 months but it is amazing how fast it heals like that. Leaves a big scar though. My doctor - smart ass that he was - said, "Your bikini days are over."
Yeah, I know, the coloratura passage. The water was so cold that even Pavarotti would easily have been able to sing all those high 'ohs' and 'ahs'!OK, I'm practising that aria for your next birthday and am relieved to read that I still have 364 days to get it right. Just remind me to warn the local coastguards in advance not to panic.Ank, dear, please take care of those poor tummy muscles. Remember that they've been severed twice and are only stitched together at the moment. I think it's time I stopped all my interminable drivel. I certainly don't want you to have another setback.Bren, it's such a pity we didn't celebrate your previous birthdays. As you probably know, Ank throws fantastic virtual birthday parties and many are tremendous fun, though much depends on the reaction of the birthday girl. You were the perfect hostess and contributed so much to our fun. Hugs to you both. ♥♥♥
Good gentle exercise for the tummy muscles! Just hold onto it it gently when you laugh!
I'm glad I still wear that truss. My poor tummy. ☺☺☺ Thanks for the laughs girls. ☺♥☺
If the water was as cold as it has been here you would be singing the Queen of the Night from The Magic Flute!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pZcaf9GfyWsAs for more than one birthday a year...maybe not. If I was on Mercury I would now be 278 and on Pluto, 0.26 so I know where I want to be for my next one!!I'm happy to have a birthday anytime (not Christmas though - presents only once a year? No thank you!) especially if everyone comes along and we have as much fun I did for the last 48 hours☺☺☺
Thank you Bren, Ank and Pat for your amusing comments.Bren, your birthday has been fun for us all. When's your next one? You don't seem to be too fussy about sticking to the rule of one birthday per year.☺☺☺Hugs to you all. ♥♥♥
Yup, Pat, I thought I came pretty close to equalling Marilyn Monroe's rendering of the same song for J. Kennedy. Bren deserved something decent, after all. My superb tremolo was courtesy of the water temperature. Pity there were no talent scouts about last night. As for skinny dipping, be grateful for small mercies! ☺☺☺
Dang, no night vision goggles here and I figured you would go skinny dipping. Nice voice though. :)
Ank - you missed a real treat! I hope you are feeling great this morning. What a fun day and all thanks to you and Linda - bless you both :o)
Awwwww, this is great, I thought I saw you in the middle but no, it is too dark. Pity it was too late for me, I would have joined you. ☺☺☺☺☺ But I love the singing. ☺♥☺♥☺
Explanation:Scene: Bren's virtual birthday party on the beach last night.I vowed to go for a virtual midnight swim.I did it, but it was so dark that no one saw me.So here's the proof! ☺☺☺
Fantastic!! Such a beautiful picture and the voice is so melodic! Thank you so much! :o)))))
