Got it and watched it. Very moving. TY Clive.

CJ45

Oh wow how exciting Dawn.
Also I have sent you a link on the poppies puzzle for you to enjoy.

firstdawn

I used to speak Spanish fairly well but not fluently. I lost the ability because we didn't have Spanish TV programs way back when which would have helped me retain and learn more. Now there are several Spanish programs on cable TV. I can only speak a little, especially medical words to my Spanish patients.I

CJ45

Oh Dawn, I did not know you were Spanish, but thank you we will enjoy our last holiday for this year and be home for a cold Christmas but as all my sons will be with us and an open fire to warm us all should be great.
I have lots of wood and logs so should stay warm till about February. LOL!!!

firstdawn

Espero que tengas unas buenas vacaciones!

CJ45

Thanks robin for the invitation but will be on holiday at the week end in Gran Canaria. So will be off jigidi for a while must get some sun on my body as it is getting colder now in the UK.

firstdawn

Isn't there a famous garden there?

mackabroin

you two should come to vancouver clive.....makes a great trip.....lots to see and do....and there is a special room in our apartments that we can book for very cheap.........lol......let me know when to book it.....lol

CJ45

Oh Dawn, I have just seen your comment it sound as bad as Vietnam and Old Delhi in India. LOL!!!

CJ45

Judy , There roads are always chocked with traffic and India is as big as America but more people and traffic that you would not imagine.
Just to say I have never been to America so I cannot comment on your personal space or your peoples. LOL!!!

CJ45

Ha,ha, Su I have never been to the Isle of Man although my Mad father was always there with his
AJ 350 and 500 and racing. He also enjoyed Dirt track racing bit of a mad Father but off the tracks he was a very kind man.

firstdawn

That's worse than San Francisco. You have to watch out for J-walkers, street signs (cell phones now tell me where to turn), go up and down some very steep hills, and watch out for the trams and cable cars.

jals

Clive,
I'll bet that was a very interesting trip. You're probably right about them learning it in childhood. We Americans like our personal space. lol

Trouble_and_Frog

I've just watched that film Clive . . . it makes Mad Sunday at the TT look like child's play. The biker Easter Egg and Christmas runs also pale in comparison . . . ;-)

CJ45

Ha,ha, Judy, I suppose they grow up from children and think nothing of riding around their city like the film shows.
Just to say I was in old Delhi in India many years ago and stayed in the Park hotel and could not cross the road even at 2 am in the morning as the whole road was full of traffic and moving. Thee Hee!!!

jals

Clive,
I didn't even think about crossing the street. I was thinking how hard it would be to ride one of those motorbikes in a cluster like that. Crazy!

CJ45

Robin, the amount of bikes are amazing aren't they, and no accidents. LOL!!!

CJ45

Judy my friend James went there for a holiday and told me about the film, He said if you wanted to cross the road you waited tell there were a few of you and you keep walking as a pack. Thee Hee.!!!

mackabroin

neat film clive.....told you all you needed to know.....and interesting......I can't believe the number of scooters....I cars just wouldn't get around very well.....thanks..

jals

Clive,
I'm watching the video. How are you connected to it? Do you know the person filming?
I can't believe all those motorbikes. And the traffic!

CJ45

The film is a little long but hope all how you enjoy it.

Trouble_and_Frog

;-)

jals

No, my nose is mine and I keep my 'stache shaved. ;-)

Trouble_and_Frog

lol Judy . . . so that must make you Judy in disguise with glasses. Are you wearing the false nose and 'tache too?
lol John . . . if in "West(ley) World" fetishism is a theme then I suppose the answer is yes. As for me being daft don't be silly . . . I'm a fully paid up member of The Barmy Army . . . ;-)

rswestley

Su? Did you say I have a beetle fetish? Are you daft? (like the rest of us?) Why never in my life have I been so embarrassed..... well, not since yesterday
Here is my final attempt to distiguish the subtle differences between "you" and "me"... pay attention, there will be an open mind test at the end of the discussion...

"You never give me your real name
You only give me your funny fake name
And in the middle of me, me, me, me and you
Green is brown

I never call you "me" or "you"
I only give you my altered I.D.
And in the middle of my consternation
"Me" is "you"

Out of grade school, my mind's spent
See no penguins, Isle of Kent
Sanity is gone,
No grass to mow

Steal a lorry, get in back
On parole, getting whacked
Jigidi's gets hacked
Sauté a crow

But oh, that hungry feeling, nowhere to sup
Oh, that starving feeling
I'm out of luck, I lost my duck...."

jals

I'm not sure I've ever seen that one, Dawn. I'll have to watch for it. Some of those older movies are the best!

firstdawn

"All of Me" Lily Tomlin dies and her soul accidently attaches to Steve Martin by help from a mystic. She was supposed to go into a young woman's body. Lily has control of the right side of S. Martin's body, and he has control of only the left side. It was a very funny movie. @CJ45

jals

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
What a fun thread to read this morning.
John's me is you and you is me and we're all you, did actually make sense. (Should I be worried?)
Clowns, railroad ties, Beatles songs.. all good fun!
And Su, I do wear glasses. ;-)

Trouble_and_Frog

lol John . . . there are far more amphibious clowns than you realise. Why do you think clowns wear such big shoes? As for the shadow thing it would appear probable and I would suspect they don't have any mirrors in the house which begs the question "How do they get their make up on?" . . . ;-)

Love the song . . . especially as I have sometimes gone under the name of "Jester Load-a-Fun". You appear to be on a Beatles' theme you're comment to Bonnie looked suspiciously like I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together. I was half expecting a reference to Judy in "disguise" but noticed that she hasn't changed her appearance . . . ;-)

firstdawn

Sorry...the movie was called All of me.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BpV5wTbvq8M

firstdawn

Remember that movie with Lilly Tomlin? I think it was called "Me, Myself and Irene.

rswestley

Bonnie, if you understood that, would you possibly explain it to me sometime?

manicpuzzler

LOL :))

Was it me in your nightmare?

rswestley

"Me" Bonnie? Did you ask "was it me?" I'm afraid you will have to a bit more explicit. In my world, me is me and you are you. In your world, me is you and you is me. And in Judy's world, Judy is me, you are you and I am you. Hey! I have an idea... the three of us should go to Ellen's world so you would be you, I would be you and Judy would be you... just like the three musketeers, Athos, Aramis, and Porthos... except "you" is alot easier to spell

manicpuzzler

Was that me John?

LOL everyone :)) Thank you for the tag Clive :))

jals

Ha ha Clive.
I had a feeling you'd say that. You wouldn't have to show your face though, it would be the puppets we'd see. Give some serious consideration to the matter, won't you? lol

PutterDutt

Clive, you can run but can't hide! :o)

CJ45

Thank you all so much for your comments but this time it was Judy that inspired me and no Judy no videos. LOL!!! I do like to stay secret. I am on email but only to a very few friends on jigidi LOL!!!

firstdawn

Nice.

jals

Very clever John. Jester Day.

rswestley

Wow T&F! You might be the first amphibious clown I've ever met. Perhaps you can answer a question... if a clown has coulrophobia, does that mean he is afraid of his own shadow?

"Jester Day
All my sanity seemed to go away,
Now it looks like silly's here to stay,
Oh, I believe in Jester Day

Curmudgeonly,
I'm not half the wit I used to be,
There's no wisdom hanging out with me,
Oh, Jester Day came suddenly...."

"Why'd she
Have to go? I don't know, could be too much beer.
I smelt
Something strong, now I long for Jester Day..."

jals

Another very cool toy, Clive! Thanks for the tag, and for sharing this with us!
You'll have to make a video with the clown and Pinocchio doing a skit. :-)

bevpuzzler8

Clive
This is a cutie,
Personally, I do not like clowns. Even as a kid.
And then along comes John Wayne Gacey, I really abhor clowns. 11-2-18

mackabroin

love the "diddly thing" frog...very appropos.....lol

Trouble_and_Frog

I actually like this one better . . . but then I have no coulrophobic issues. I'm a bit of a clown myself . . . being born on April 1st 19-diddly-thing how could I be anything else? . . . lol

CJ45

Thank you jeri.

jeribar8

Clive, you have so many neat treasures.
◔◡◔) ~❤️~

CJ45

Ha,Ha, John.

rswestley

Ellen, did I mention I had a nightmare the other night? A runaway Jigidier was talking nonsense.... and I was tied to the railroad tracks... and I couldn't escape the non-stop recipes that kept running after me. I finally turned off the computer and went to bed...

PutterDutt

Oh, dear, John! Life must be difficult for you. :o(

rswestley

Clowns, winter mittens, hairballs, cookie dough... just about everything scares me Ellen

pasta

This one is a little creepy.☺☺

PutterDutt

Afraid of clowns, John?

rswestley

I can see I'm in for a string of sleepless nights...

Watchman

Cool. Thanks for the tag. ;-)

mackabroin

oh how neat clive......I had one of these.....lol...wow...I had forgotten all about it....mine was not dressed like this......he was velvet.....I am not sure but I think my mom had made it???......so many memories......thanks clive
