San Diego 2-13-13

Well, today it was 80 but with a lovely breeze so it was luscious, not hot. However, we've had a cold winter (for us) and next week we'll be having "highs" in just the mid to high 50's and some rain. Remember, our blood hasn't thickened - cold is relative. And believe it or not, we complain about the weather just as much as people do in the harshest environments. We just have to be more creative.

I love the flowering pear trees! I've been at sea and in Hawaii for awhile, and wonderful as that was, I was overjoyed when I came home and saw the flowering pears! Thanks for these posts!

We don't give up complaining about the weather here either. Our blood is thinner so we've had some days when the daytime temps haven't gotten up to 60 and we whine with everyone else. I think complaining about the weather is in our human DNA.

Yes, it's beautiful now but in May and June we get coastal gloom. Then I'm jealous - or I travel.
