Yes, she is, but only for air shows. There are others, I think, that are chartered for joy flights etc. out of Essendon Airport in Melbourne.
I flew in a chartered TAA one in 1967-68, also to New Guinea! I wish I'd taken notice of the plane's rego. I was a member of a big Methodist Youth Fellowship work party crowd of 188 people. The team I was in, built a residential High School on New Ireland and I was the nurse - a 22 hour a day job but such fun and I adore the Papua/New Guinea folk. Others were building elsewhere or doing Sunday School teacher-training.

Is she still flying? I flew in one in New Guinea in 1970. Favourite aircraft!
