Love the exotic look! The verticality of the image made it challenging on a screen more suited for the horizontal fare. I was intrigued by this one because of the name - why "passion"? It turns out it's not as I had expected:
"It is said that the Passion Fruit was named by the 16th century Spanish Catholic Missionaries in the Amazon region of Brazil. They called it “flor passionis” (passion flower) or “flor de las cinco llagas” (flower of the five wounds) after its purple flower which they believed resembled the five wounds of Christ." (https://whatscookingamerica.net/Q-A/PassionFruit.htm) Oh.

From what I can tell, not only are these fruits edible, but darn good for you: "Despite its small size, it’s rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and plant compounds that could benefit your health." (https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/passion-fruit) Anyway, thanks for the great shot and challenging solve, Phil.

Well, it's certainly adding some nice contrast to the blue of the garage.

Yes, this one is pretty amazing. It covers the garage of a neighbour's house. I'm not sure whether this one is the edible variety, but definitely one of the passiflora genus...

Wikipedia .... Passiflora, known also as the passion flowers or passion vines, is a genus of about 550 species of flowering plants, the type genus of the family Passifloraceae.

They are mostly tendril-bearing vines, with some being shrubs or trees. They can be woody or herbaceous. Passion flowers produce regular and usually showy flowers with a distinctive corona. The flower is pentamerous and ripens into an indehiscent fruit with numerous seeds. For more information about the fruit of the Passiflora plant, see passionfruit.

I didn't know passion fruit grew on vines. I'll be darned. Very nice picture, Phil.

Yum!
