If you're looking for "Honey" based bands, you're not going to go wrong with Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck's "Honneydrippers". Only did one album.....and it's fantastic! :-)

starlord

Not to forget 'Have I the right' by the Honeycombs :-)

squishy2

All eaters of nimble floated away, MajorD = no market. It's still available.

DYR

woo hoo Major Don - that's corkin' ... :o))

MajorDon

has Nimble bread disappeared - you had to eat 24 slices before you noticed

MajorDon

Hovis.....The name was coined in 1890 by London student Herbert Grime in a national competition to find a trading name for their patent flour which was rich in wheat germ. Grime won £25 when he coined the word from the Latin phrase hominis vis – "the strength of man"

squishy2

Thanks! Couldn't have done it without the bread clue - I remembered the balloons! How sad is that?

Honeybus were a 1960s pop group formed in April 1967, in London. They were best known for their 1968 UK Top 10 hit single, "I Can't Let Maggie Go" – and here it is - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Svy00VbAcSc
