what a view!
Glad you and Mike are going to continue hiking. Can always do some easier hikes with your leader occasionally so she still gets out. As Suzy said, the hiking is keeping you young and in good physical shape. There is so much for you to still see out there - can't quit yet. :) And you have to drag all the rest of us along as we look forward to the vicarious hikes every week.Have you ever spotted the wild horses in that area? Would be great to see.Take care, Maria, and I'll be watching for your next great adventure. :)
Such a breath taking view.
Thank you Suzy, we have a great group of people. Yes the colors in early spring are beautiful and the mountains are always my favorite.Glad you could join:)
Beautiful country thanks Maria
8 years of hiking every week with your group. So amazing, Maria! I am sure that the weekly hikes have kept all of you young. This view is wonderful. I love the soft green in the foreground....then those always present mountains! Thanks for taking us along.
Hi Snooker,I am so glad that you were far away from the tornado, that's so devastating I can't even imagine, it's scary enough watching it on the news.Thursday's hike was Mount Yamnuska, it was the group 8th. anniversary and it's always celebrated on this mountain (the home made cookies were delicious!) but it might be the last one. The group is getting older or those mountains are getting steeper,:) our leader is wearing down, her back is really giving her problems so God's willing it will be celebrated on lower ground.I still love the challenge and so does Mike so we take off on our own during the week armed with maps to a new hike:))Today we went to Mustang Hills, a group of three hills in the hope we would see some wild horses but no luck this time. We will try again.Till next week my friend. Keep well.
