I understand and am glad you took photos. There's a few missing structures in my area I wish now I had done the same.

There is a draw to them for me also, bluesmoke, There was a nice big older red barn not to far from where I live, it was in the middle of a field. I drove by it recently and there is only a big bare spot in the field. It was totally knocked down and totally removed. Except for the void, you would never know it was there. I'm glad I took several photos of it before this happened.

Really like these puzzles but they do make me sad. Buildings look so lonely.

This has become pretty common in the Mid-West, at least Ellen, where they farm right up to the old houses, yard and all and heaven forbid, the BARNS, too,

I must be cracked. My first thought as I finished this puzzle was, "I want to hug that house."
