Thanks Jeri for the plethora of information on these. I really would like to get one. I know these plants have several names but this is the first I have heard them being called "dog's tongue". Se you learn something everyday on here. That's how I justify all the time I spend on here. HAHA

jeribar8

Another site that sells them...

https://etsy.me/2IMkxGR
then put paddle plant in search bar

I just read that these plants are also called "dog's tongue" (that's funny)

Cyndi, you can order these plants on line from Amazon... Amazon sells everything... I even buy
my country ham from them. (Daniel Boone country ham)

Isaly

I have been all over and no one sells these here. Such a beautiful succulent!

Fowly

I meant FLAPJACKS, peachesgirl, I just pressed the wrong key and didn't check before I posted.

peachesgirl

I am jealous, Fowly! I want one of these plants. Someone else told me they are called Flapkacks or Flapjacks..among other names. Glad you liked this one. Sharon ;-D

Fowly

Thanks for this lovely potted puzzle. In Australia we call this succulent Flapkacks, I have a few in my garden.

Thanks for the info Jeri. Love this. Will have to go to Walmart and see if ours has any. Thanks to you too Sharon for alerting me to Jeri's comment.

peachesgirl

Hey Cyndi. Check out the info that jeribar shared with us! ;-D

peachesgirl

Walmart? I had no idea. I have bought plants from there before but they were diseased. I will see if they have any here at this Walmart. Thanks for the info, jeribar. Sharon ;-D

That's a pretty little plant! Thanks for the fun puzzle, Sharon! (✬‿✬) - Teresa

I'm like you Sharon. I would have thought the succulents would have been the first to freeze since they are full of liquid. Surprising for sure. I will have to see if I can find one of these paddle plants around here. Hopefully they grow here in the US. Going to get to bed now. Sweet dreams. Going to have a busy day tomorrow so I don't know when I will get on here. Hugs my friend.

peachesgirl

I had never seen one or heard of it, either. It is so pretty and aptly named. I love succulents, too. They are the only thing that didn't freeze when we had that freeze here. It surprised me! I thought since they are full of water that they would have been the first to freeze! Yes, they are easy to grow and you can break off a leaf and stick it in dirt and it will grow. ;-D

Isaly

Ah another plant I haven't heard about. Love the color of this. I really like succulents. Easy to grow.
