Way to go, brippel--great perseverance, determination, or maybe downright stubbornness! LOL! Good work!!!!! :-)))))
I'm pretty sure I set a new record - 11 hours, 36 minutes and 41 seconds. Done over the last week!! What a challenge!! Thanks so much!
I'm not that fond of green, either (but I'd add money as a place it belongs, because I live in the US!), but you must dislike it even more, because you washed your hands of it waaaaaay much more quickly than I did! Wow, that was fast! Thanks, GoldenCat! :-)))
Well I managed to finish it although I really don't like green (belongs on trees and lawns)!!!
I think that your time was excellent! And I can't believe that I edged someone by 8 seconds! That's nuts! LOL!
This puzzle was tough. I thought you would knock my time out of the water., but you didn't. Now I don't feel quite as bad about my time. : )
I just finished it, and I think that it was a LOT more tugman than Goldi! I'm surprised that there is a full leader board--there are more masochists in the world than I thought! LOL!
I'm just a big kid when it comes jigidi, I am just a big kid. No self-control. It may have been a little more Tugman than goldi-monster but I loved every minute of it. No snow day. It started out as ice but quickly changed over to heavy downpours and hasn't stopped. Oh well, I guess I have to work sometimes. : )
And, looking at the board, I would have to say that I was right about this being more tugman than Goldi-monster........
Oh, dear, that's not the way you were supposed to handle this! You were supposed to be mature and adult and put aside childish ways (jigsaw puzzles) and get some sleep, not stay up half the night! Tsk, tsk! LOL! Well, I'm still hoping you get that snow day--we're supposed to get 3-5 inches ourselves, and, if I thought I could do it, I'd gladly send it to you! :-)))
Fantastic puzzle. Just couldn't put it down. It's nearly 2 am and I'm off to bed. Not looking like a snow day so I'm going to be one tired puppy tomorrow!
Before we moved here, we didn't need curtains. We were on a farm in the middle of nowhere. Now we live in the city and I have to assume there are some things my neighbors don't want to see. LOL!
As long as they don't put you in the white coat with the buckles--that makes it really hard to solve puzzles..... LOL!. Thanks, brippel! :-)))
This may be the puzzle that gets me committed, but what a challenge. Looking forward to it!!
Aishah, I have no curtains on any windows but the one in the door in the laundry room, of all places! (Bob didn't like the fact that people could see the messy shelves, so I stuck up a sheer curtain to help block the view!). When we moved here, almost 40 years ago, we did the normal thing, and put up curtains and drapes everywhere. Over the years, as we repainted the rooms, taking down the rods and brackets to do it, we stopped putting them back up. So now we have no curtains or drapes at all. I much prefer it, and I've noticed that many of the houses around here are looking just like ours. But blocking out the glare on a computer is of course a different matter! :-)))
1:14:33 and 36%. We are all pretty close on time. Wonder how we will finish?
Ah, Dragoonster, you HAVE to be drunk to do this infernal puzzle! LOL! When I started making these monochromatic grids, I made them with definite patterns, usually with the shades going from light to dark and back again in a very precise pattern. Then I started making the colors go in chains, where they took odd turns, but still always stayed connected. Now I've gotten to the point where I let them roam wherever they wish!!! And your stats for this puzzle sound very familiar--oh, my! Good luck! :-)))
Pat, I started this one earlier but then I was forced to go curtain shopping. I moved in this place at the end of August and was still using brown kraft paper for window treatments. I really can't imagine why that was a problem. I hardly noticed it when I am staring at the puzzle on my computer screen. LOL!
I'm at 37% and 1:14. And am a bit too drunk to try to continue today. Excellent puzzle pdevredis, you evil human! And to think...green used to be my favorite color. Hehe :P
I've got my ganglia and dendrites crossed for you! LOL! And if you're thinking of doing this, I'm at 36% and 1:15:20..... I think that this is more tugman than goldi....... :-DDD
Oh Pat think good thoughts for me. They calling for snow and ice tonight. Here's hoping for a snow day!
