There was a cycling competition that day and the huge parking lot was full ! Cars and motorhomes and coaches everywhere and lots and lots of people enjoying themselves.
But we couldn't have lunch in any of the numerous restaurants along the water ,all full up !
Still the picnic in the open ,sitting on the grass near the motorhome, wasn't too bad...

Lovely...sunshine, flowers, charming buildings...who wouldn't love it? ❤️❤️❤️

I am glad you like Dole dear friends.When the weather is sunny and in August / September it is always charming..The town ,which used to be "la préfecture" du Jura, is very keen on attracting tourists ..♥☺♥☺♥
