Why are you reporting this puzzle?
In January I visited the Central Oregon coast. I was driving north on Highway 101 after having visited the town of Florence. I saw a pullout and trail to the beach that I had never explored before. I stopped to take a look at the spot. After walking about a 100 yards down the trail, I came to this sight. The water you see the foreground was a fair sized creek. I named it Rocky Creek for obvious reasons. The creek ran into the sandy spit you see near the horizon. It made a sharp left and soon made its way to the sea. If you solve this puzzle, you can barely see the ocean on the other side of the spit.
