That could be. Our Boston is at the ocean and has a river. It's a big city verses a town though. Hopefully their ''revamping'' wind up having that market end like yours did by moving.
Hi Joyce, perhaps the settlers from over here modelled Boston on what they'd left behind. I believe the market is a regular market selling everything. I found this update from the local BBC News on line about the market. 'A Lincolnshire market has moved for the first time in more than 500 years to make way for a £2m revamp. More space for events is being created at the market place, at the foot of St Botolph's in Boston, as part of the work. The 102 stalls which trade on Wednesdays and Saturdays have now moved to a temporary site nearby on Wide Bargate.Lincolnshire County Council said the work was expected to last eight months. Market Traders' Federation in the town, said: "Traders are making the best of it'. We had a market here in Rochester every Friday which had been going for many many years then the council decided to move it and it soon closed...Sue
Great puzzle/picture!! It does look a little like parts of our Boston!! Wonder if that's a flea market or a regular market, either way it would be fun to go through. Many thanks for posting this puzzle Sue!! :))))(time, 9:38)
