This lovely photo was taken my my Sister. I am scared to death of spiders, but I love seeing their webs, & this dew-covered one is truly a work of art.

Hi Clive, thank you for visiting & commenting! :)
Yes Judy (@jals), she is very good at EVERYTHING! She is 8 years older than me, & my only sibling. She was practically born with a paintbrush in her hand, & can do marvelous things with any medium you could name. Me? I can crochet, LOL! Actually I enjoy many crafts, but am nowhere close to her in talent. She really did an amazing job with this web! She just walked onto her front porch one morning, saw this & grabbed her camera & snapped it. I would probably have seen it & said, "Oh great, that means there's probably an icky old spider nearby!", then whacked it away with a broom without even noticing how pretty it looks all glittering with dew, LOL! We are very different, but we love each other dearly. :)

jals

She is very good with the camera! :-)

Hi Gina, Thanks for the Tag.

PuzzleG

Judy, I know my Sis will be thrilled to hear such high praise for her photography skills. She is an amazing artist, & does excellent work in any medium.
@jeanblum, @jals, @CJ45.

PuzzleG

Thank you all for your comments! I will pass them on to my Sis.
Judy, yes I know how our best laid plans can often go awry when kids are involved, LOL! Hope you all had a nice time anyway. XXX

Hello Gina- so nice to meet you- l sympathize about the pain and you need not answer- We are all friends here and we all understand-
This spider web is absolutely a work of art and your sister is a superb photographer.- Jean from NJ

jals

Happy New Year, Clive!

jals

Happy New Year Gina!
Yes we did finally get the beds. Of course none of the kids wanted to stay over then. ha ha That's how it usually goes.

CJ45

Oh, thank you Gina and A very happy 2017 New Year to you and "Hubby" and all of your family.

PuzzleG

wow, sorry I haven't checked my comments in awhile, @CJ45, @nanlein, @jals, @brightspark !
Hi Jals, I hope you finally got your bed delivered! I have told my Sis about Jigidi, but don't know if she has visited our site or not. She keeps busy with her art & her family, where it's just me & Hubby most of the time here, so I have more time to fill. I love Jigidi, & all of the wonderful friends I've met on here from all over the world. That still boggles my mind! There is very little "naughty" stuff on here, & we all have love of puzzles in common & often other interests too. My Brother-in-Law is from Mexico, & Sis knows Spanish & has many in-laws she often chats with on Facebook. If you search for Google Translate, you can type on there in English & it will translate your words into any foreign language you want. It isn't always super accurate, but at least you can communicate fairly well with people in other countries. It really comes in handy here on Jigidi! I've never been to any foreign countries besides Mexico, & Canada which I don't really think of as a foreign country though it is. Before 9-11 we used to be able to cross the border from Washington state with very little trouble. Now you need a passport, & practically have to leave your firstborn child at the border before they'll let you cross. To me that's very sad, but also very necessary for our safety. I don't remember what I've said about being excited, but it was probably about our selling our home & moving to the city to live with our daughters & Son-in-Law, which we are really looking forward to. CJ45 (Clive) & nanlein (Nan) have been Jigidi friends of mine for quite awhile. ((HUGS))

Thank you Clive & Nan, wishing you & your dear family the happiest, healthiest, & most blessed New Years ever!

CJ45

Hi Gina, hope you and hubby have a great 2017.

nanlein

Gina, I hope the New Year brings you good health, love, and lots of good times. HUGS, nan

jals

Well, that is a shame she doesn't know about Jigidi. You keep secrets from her?
That is neat your sister and her pen pal are still writing each other and using a different language. I don't know any other language than English. I know just a little bit of Spanish but not enough to travel to a Spanish speaking country.

I don't really understand what you mean about getting excited, but that's okay. I don't have to understand everything and I'm glad you're not naughty on here. It's better to behave and treat each other nicely.

CJ45

Hi judy, no you have not as she does not know about jigidi.
Thee hee! it is my outlet to amuse my self with friends across the Globe so there. I know I am naughty for not telling her but there we go and I am never naughty on jigidi as it is such a nice place to be on like old pen friends of the past which my elder sister and her pen friend in Germany still write to each other from the last war. in both languages they take turns in using each others language's in their letters. They are so old now that computers have left them behind,
My wife still helps my sister to use her computer and her mobile phone. As they speak together each week and some times more and forget about me LOL!!
They both have both been friends since I met Kays as a teen and both hit it off when they both met each other. So I still have trouble from both of them if I get excited if you understand what I mean. LOL!!!

jals

Clive,
Behave yourself or I'll tell your wife. ha ha
I now have some leverage. ;-)

CJ45

Hi Gina, nice to hear from you again how is the weight going hopefully in the right direction and hope hubby is well.
Hi, Judy nice to see you on Gina's puzzles I like rodents and spiders but do not tell my wife LOL!!!

jals

Ha Gina,
We could live together and I'd take care of the spiders and you could do the mice.
I'm sorry to hear you have pain. It's no fun. So get on when you can and no one will care if it takes you a while to answer back. I understand. I haven't been able to take a nap the past couple days. We bought a new bed for us and another bed for company so now all the kids will have a bed when they come home to visit. But they said they would deliver it Monday. So I wait and they don't come. So yesterday they said they'd be here at 11 a.m. Then they called and said it would be more like 3:00. No nap again. I think I may just take one today. Have had a headache all morning and can't shake it.

PuzzleG

Hello Jals, I'm so glad you stopped by & commented! Looking at your puzzle page, we have lots in common, like reading, CHOCOLATE, crocheting, naps, etc. I'm ok with mice & most reptiles, but get totally freaked out if I see a spider ~~ GO FIGURE, LOL!
Sparkles, that sounds like such a great idea!
Hi Clive, I'm glad you enjoyed this puzzle. Due to pain & other issues I often don't get on here for days, so never worry about being late with your comments. I'll see them sooner or later, LOL!

CJ45

A bit late Gina but what super puzzle. Thank you.

brightspark

can u imagine having a shawl like this xxx so beautiful - thx for sharing xx Dew drop hugs

jals

Gina, I'll take a spider over a mouse any day. Well, provided it's not one of those huge, scary looking ones. I find their webs fascinating. It's amazing how quickly they can weave those.

PuzzleG

Thank you Janet & Nan, She lives in rural San Diego county & is an amateur entomologist (bug lover, LOL!), & is always exploring & looking for interesting insects, owl castings, & other such things. That is probably what she was doing when she saw this spider web.

nanlein

Truly a work of art. Thanks to you and your sister, Gina! nan

jan42ful

PuzzleG
