Love the artwork!
Thank you, Janine- that's very helpful...although I'll still create my 'usual' too, where nothing much is going on behind them. LOLGood, whatnauts. :-)
Thanks Wendy, I saw your comment on the older puzzle :))
I think I like this one better because of the color placement.Lots of motion going on behind the stately flowers.I love it...thank you so much, Janine.
I thank you for your feedback, whatnauts. I agree too. And on a side note, if you don't bother going back to the very old puzzle you solved tonight/morning, I'll just tell you that it was a very pleasant surprise. :-)
I agree with everything everyone else said. This puzzle has more interest in the design and the texture and I like this one a little better. (6:59)
Mandy, you are soooooooo right! That really is what the setting looks like. I've always loved thunder and lightening and heavy rainstorms. Even now, my son and i will sit on the porch for about 10 minutes during them.
Edie is right, this background is way more dramatic... I feel a tropical electric storm brewing... one of those with dramatic lightening and thunder but before the rain arrives!!! I used to love standing out and watching them when I was abroad... thanks Wendy :~)))
Too funny, Edie! ;-)
Had to get a better foothold. I was almost over the cliff already. LOL
Thanks so much for letting me know, Edie. You were definitely a help. I've never worked with any kind of textures...not really, but what I realize is that some colors are always blotchy no matter what I do. For some reason though, using a texture removes the blotchiness so I'm going to use textures more often in the future.
There's things I like about both puzzles. I prefer the smaller size because I'm still not use to having to get so many pieces out of my way to start solving. I like that the other flowers have different shapes but I love the texture of this puzzle and find the background more dramatic which is good. So not really much help but they both get two thumbs up from me. Thanks Wendy
Thank you, dear Pat. But I'll bet some people would think that I only changed the colors slightly. The puzzzles are very much alike in the basic set up but that's about it.
Gee, I'm so glad that you added that note, or I might have thought that you posted the same puzzle twice...LOL!!! I can't imagine anyone not being able to see how different they are--and how wonderful! :-)))
