So very pretty!!!
Thanks, Wendy. I only saw a few butterflies out there today. I wonder if I can find their chrysalis somewhere.
I went out again yesterday and only saw about 10. Thanks for stopping by, Lunie.
Wow! That many Gail?
Thanks. I really like this color better than the other one:)
Thank you, Cappy.
nev very pretty butterflies bush, nice color.hugs
It was amazing, Ardy. I have seen one monarch all summer and a lot of yellow or white butterflies, but all of these Painted Ladies... Wow! When I taught second grade we raised them in the classroom. We were given several vials of larva, mashed vegetation for them and a butterfly "cage". It was fun to see the larva grow and become a chrysalis and then hatch into butterflies. They laid eggs and if I had the right plants, they would hatch and grow. We released the butterflies near the woods and fields by the school.
Oh, Gail. So beautiful. I haven't seen a butterfly in my yard for three summer's now. Thanks for sharing this.
