Thanks Kirsten, I'm glad you've caught up with it... but it wasn't going anywhere!! LOLYou sound like me, having to wait for a while in order to get to puzzles that were bookmarked as being beautiful at the time, but without the time required to enjoyably solve them. I think this was rafia but I don't seem to have kept an image of the original... foolishly!! Enjoy the celebrations tonight... and I look forward to our continuing friendship next year :~)
FINALLY caught up with this one Mandy! At last!! And it was worth the wait. What a little sweetie. It reminds me of either raffia or quilled paper!! Thanks for the fun. :)))
Thanks Gail, if I could weave/fold ribbon like this I'd be a very happy person... I gave up trying to tie ribbons on my parcels years ago because I could just never get them to look right!! I'm glad you like the frame too, thanks.
Yes, PJ, sometimes a puzzle will just yell at me until I solve it.... regardless of the colour!! I still haven't figured out what it is that grabs me then... LOL
This is a real beauty, Mandy. It looks like you handcrafted that beautiful flower from ribbon. I like the framing, too. The colors really do set it off nicely. I wish I knew how to frame like that. One of these days....
Yes - Mandy - this is how I feel too: "I probably wouldn't even see them if they were in a different colour", the exception is when a design is outstanding enough to 'wake me up'...PJ
Thanks ladywil - nice to see you visit and thanks for stopping to leave a comment :~)
Thanks whatnauts - good time :~)
this is a beautiful star...colors go very well together.
I love this star, monza. It's beautiful.
PJ - I didn't know about your dislike of cold colours, but I did know you were a member of the OFC. It's so interesting how our likes and dislikes of colours can so influence our enjoyment of things in our lives... I know exactly what you mean about a colour acting as a magnet... my husband despairs when I see things in purple (in winter, its orange in summer)!!! I probably wouldn't even see them if they were in a different colour :~)
LOL - Katie you got PJ right, and I do remember her being a member of the OFC, I'm delighted you've enjoyed the set today, thank you for stopping to let me know :~)
Mandy, I thought you knew about my dislike for cold colors like blue - but here the design was so elegant and sophisticated that it worked like a magnet for me.... And finally, there was the warm, wonderful orange color to balance it off.PJ
Great texture in this one - it looks like colored rafia! I love the orange background - naturally! Thanks Mandy! Great set today! (And I think PJ is a member of the OFC, so that may have something to do with the comment about the blue here.)
LOL - PJ, I'm not sure why you singled out the blue colour, but I am happy to hear you enjoyed this one, thanks :~)
Golly, thanks Francine, that's an huge compliment :~)
Oh, Mandy - this is so lovely, elegant and adorable. Great design. Love it. (Even the blue color).PJ
Mandy, this has to be my favourite of yours. It's beautiful. Thanks.
Thanks puzzaddled - you were quick to solve this! :~)
Very pretty and delicate, thank you monza!
