You did, Zophas! Your name is on the leader board to prove it!! LOL. Well done!
Can't believe I did that.
And you are on the leaderboard. Welcome to the house of pain. LOL
OMG awesome puzzle, didnt think it would take that long but, at least i finished it lolol
Hiya, Maggie. It was a very tough jig. I bet you had a busy Christmas and New Year with new additions to the family. It's a wonder you finished the puzzle. I haven't heard "butty" since I lived in South Wales. LOL A good 2013 to you and your family!!
Didn't think I would get anywhere near the leader board. Well I never take this long to polish off a plate of spaghetti John. Never felt like giving up at all. HAPPY NEW YEAR BUTTY!!!
You made the leader board, Aishah. Well done.
Nowhere near your time, but I am just happy to finish it. Spaced out here I come.
Hi, Aishah. Your time should be fairly close to mine so see what you can do. I'm going to try to finish "spaced out" today!! Good luck and Good New Year's Eve!!
5:17:38 and halfway. John, you are a master when it comes to creating a challenge. And dont think I didn't see that new 540 piece one you posted earlier today.
You've got both, Aishah. That's what will get you through what you are going through. :-))
Dedication or Addiction? lol
I know that you will do it, Aishah!! Dedication!! LOL
Almost three and a half hours and only 37%. I am wondering if it will still be 2012 when I get done!
Have "fun"! LOL!!!
Sounds nice, PD. Another cat to avoid. LOL I'm just doing you Christmas jig. It's a cracker. I'm over 3hrs already!!!!
Ah, I always wondered about the name, too, and now I know--and a fascinating tale it is, too! My cat, Beau, is also a slasher (and a biter), but not just when you mess with him. He can be purring away as you pet him, then the very next second decide he's had enough. If you don't intuit that and immediately remove your hand, he will try very hard to remove it for you......surgically!
If I get attacked by a cat, I would learn quickly, Barbara!LOL Roy not quick on the uptake or does he enjoy the pain? LOL
Thank you Suzanne...It was on the tip of my tongue... I wish they would bring them back to the program schedule... Now, I can tape (opps...) "record" them. How quickly language (us, too...) changes... Ahhhhhhh...... Oh John!... that cat was the nicest, most independent.. patient, warmhearted, fluffy beige/tan character one could ever want in a cat... except when you (Roy) messed with him. I, of course, did not mess with him... I learned quickly... Roy ? ? ? ? ?
barbara, i don't think that i would go too near that cat!! thanks for the explanation! bfn
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.Zato/Barbara, your director is probably Akira Kurosawa.Suzanne
Hi John... thought no one would ever ask LOL... I used to watch old Japanese samurai movies (1940) by a famous director (whose name I now forget !! ah, old age creep).. There were a series of about 4 or 6. His main character was of a very kind, blind samurai, who was the fastest swordsman in the land. And, we had a beautiful, wonderful, amazing, cat for 18 years, whose name was Squeaker (because he squeaked when you touched him). Now, our cat Squeaker, had his front claws. And, these claws were very, very sharp! Well, if you messed with him (which my husband did all the time) he would lash out and slice and dice you before you knew it. So... when I was looking for a username Roy suggested Zatoichicat... Have a wonderful New Year.. on to another monster...
Ah, we have a name to conjure with now!! Barbara. Much more friendly than Zato. Where did your Zato tag come from?
Merry Christmas Everyone! Thank you John... Really had fun doing this one., Now, I have to figure out how to print it, in order to solve it. I love solving mazes. Great present. Question... how can there be seven solves... and only five on the ladder? Hummm.... I finally figured out that in order to get on the ladder (i.e. play with the big kids) I'd have be be one of the first few to solve the puzzle(s) Yahoo,,,, ROTFL I do a lot of that here on Jigidi.... Have a great Holiday Season... Roy and Barbara
1:02:59, and 26%. All that means is that I have the frame done and a few pieces in it; there is no way that I am 1/4 finished time-wise!!!I posted one for you, in case you need a break from (almost all) dark colors and complicated squiggles. I'm sure it will be easier than this, if you ever feel like trying it. So far, it's had no takers--unless they're all still working on it...! LOL! Merry Christmas, John!http://www.jigidi.com/puzzle.php?id=KX46YMJU
It is addictive. You'll need plenty of rations to finish this one. I've never taken 71/2hrs to finish a jigLOL
I'll have to stop for a while, because I can't figure out how to put waffles in an IV, so I can remain here. :-( :-)))
Thankyou, Hanne. I'm already over 4hrs and don't think that I'm half way!! :-((( Merry Christmas.
Thanks John, it's really too much!! What a present!! I think I'll concentrate about "Complicated" instead - good luck to all of you who throw yourself out into this experiment!! Merry Christmas to you and Layla!!
It is "insane" Luc!! I'm not sure if you celebrate Christmas (from your name, but, if you do, have a good time.
I'm deeply humbled by your generousity^^ This looks insane!...and you know that I like insane:-) Thanks a lot.
I haven't heard from you for a while, Aishaj. I was thinking that you had gone away for Christmas. I hope that you are OK, healthwise. Enjoy your Christmas.
Oh John, this is fantastic. I am out of commission right now so I will have to bookmark it with the others. Hopefully I can get to them all soon.
thanks, zophas. you, too!
that sounds nice, pd. enjoy your time together
Ignore a Tugman puzzle? You gotta be kidding! I don't have that kind of willpower. Enjoy your festive season, Tugman.
Love the pesky mosquito analogy--yes, that's just about as easy to ignore! LOL! Yes, my (local) family will all come over, daughter and SIL, son and DIL and grandson. Just wish my California daughter and grandson could make it, too... Well, I'm thankful to have what I do have!!!
Zophas, methinks you doth protest too much!! LOL You know that you could ignore it (like a pesky mosquito!!). Enjoy
I knew that you would be pleased with the present, pd. It should keep us occupied for a while!! LOLI like the picture of your mobile carpets (dogs). Lovely!! I'm sure we will speak before Christmas day but, if not, have a lovely time. Will your newly married daughter and SIL be with you?
Oh No! Tugman, you've just ruined the rest of my evening!
Gee, wow, hooray, yippee--just what I wanted!!!! How did you guess?!!! Holy Hannah, this is a-maze-ing--and promises to be the gift that keeps on giving--right into the New Year! Thanks, John, and a Merry Christmas to you!
