So far the coywolf has eaten many cats and dogs, at this point it will have to eat a few children before they do something.

As we don't do anything about coyotes, and as this is a direct relative of a coyote, we won't be doing anything about it now...until a small child and mother are mutilated...and then we run the risk of not being re-elected...

The town thinks we all need to calm down while they consider what appropriate action or inaction should taken while studied by circumstance and if a committee should start a task force or be a part of said task force to comprehend the alleged interaction with wild life and to ask the minister of natural resources if there exist any protocol for discovery of maximizing synergy with the other parties.... bla bla bla

That's pretty scary. Is the town doing anything about it?

We have given up early morning walks and going out after dark.
Every dog walker around here has at least one story of their encounter, most of the run ins now are in mid day =:o

David Suzuki did a program on them...and we thought coyotes were bad enough!

Francine, the coyotes around here are a cross with the eastern wolf and the western coyote, they call it a Coywolf... They are strong, fast, have no fear and they are very smart.

OMG, Mat! Going after an 80-lb. dog!! Scary. We hear them at night during the full moon; luckily never saw one. Good luck.

This amazing looking low flying cloud was pushed right over us by a strong wind. We did not get wet, it got very dark with an odd orange glow, we were more concerned with the coyotes coming out for dinner than the rain.
