Hi cmatthews!! Thank you very much for your wonderful note. I didn't know that bees take little naps here and there as they work. How wonderful !!! I have added you to my 'favourites' list and I will check out your puzzles when I can. : )Thank you Denise. I'm glad you like this one!! Hug!Thank you Maureen !!! Yes, they work hard but apparently they take power naps every now and then!! : )
Cathy you captured a wonderful photo of nature,at work. Fabulous! :-))Bees are very busy little creatures. :-)
Lovely to see the bee busy:-))Great photo Cathy:-))Hugs
Hi cevas, I have a plant in my garden that is green at the moment but produces purple balls as flowers at the end of summer (Echinops Bannaticus Blue Globe Thistle) and the bees fall asleep when pollinating them. I usually remove the bees that have fallen asleep on the flowers and gently put them on the ground to recover. I will post a photo in outdoors of the plant so you can see what it is.
Thank you Rob! I'm happy if the story made you : ) or even LOL !! But it is true!!!Thank you Floyd. Yes, I like bees too. And in all fairness to this one he is probably quite sober and working very hard! : )
Bees are very useful and nice to see them working away. Great picture.
LOL!!! good story Cathy!!! This is a top shot - thanks Cathy:))
Thanks Dave! Yes, he could be tipsy. I think quite a number of bees have a drinking problem. I was having lunch with a friend on the terrace of a restaurant. A bee crashed into her and landed senseless in her salad! (I am not making this up!) She removed him gently with a spoon and put him on the table to see if he would recover. He did and he flew away!! But we both thought that he had been into the ... nectar!
More likely close to tipsy, about ready to make golden honey! Nice close up Cathy!
He is definitely centered!!! : )
He is the center of the universe.
Maybe he's asleep !? zzzzzz
He is having a party.:-))
Dekuji Agnes !!!
Thank you Lorna !! Yes, I thought it was rather cheerful !!Thanks Aggie! I'm glad you like this one. He blends in, doesn't he !?
Lovely bright photo Cathy!
Thank you very much Jim!!
A wonderful photo, Cathy!
Thanks for your note Li ! That's true! My camera and my hand were very close to him but fortunately he was busy! : ))))
Nice bee, Cathy. It's nice that one can get so much closer with a camera than with one's face!
