To all of my friends who celebrate, have a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends!

Like so many other families, we have a tradition of each of us saying something we are thankful for. I want you to know that I am thankful for all of you!
It's a joy to see you each day. You are such kind, generous, funny, supportive and wonderful friends. No one could ask for a better group of people than you.

That is what makes it so difficult for me to tell you this. I will not be able to post puzzles or visit regularly over the next 2 months. There are a lot of things happening right now in my life and I need to "take care of business!" This is not a goodbye, I'm just letting you know you won't see me as often. However, you will be in my heart and mind and I will get "back to normal" here on Jigidi when I can. I will be missing our time together tremendously!

Thanks so much for being such good and understanding friends! Happy Thanksgiving!

Aw shucks, now I am smiling! What a dear thing to say! Thanks so much!!

Somebody told me once "on the down days, it's okay to take baby steps, or even no steps at all." It sounds like you have wonderful support, Jan, we're in your corner!!!

Thanks, Michelle! :)

Ank, your wishes are so very much appreciated. I will be fine. So will those around me. It's just a very rough patch. We all have them. Thank you so very much. And Maggie loved your Bellyrub!!

O Jan, this sounds pretty serious, I wish I could help you. Life is giving you a bad time. I really hope there is someone around you to support you. Be strong my dear, and if there is anything I can do, just tell me.
About the puzzle. No we don't have thanksgiving in NL, but I like to say thanks to you, thanks for your friendship. Love you. Hugs.
And give Maggie a belly rub.:-)))

Sent you em to your "beach"... ☺

Michelle, I haven't forgotten. I am just so whipped and worn out that I have no room left for "witty." I do appreciate the encouragement! It does help. Truly..... :)))))

arrrgh...I was in the midst of a long message to you, trying to tell you how I felt and I somehow lost it all...this one-handed typing thing is a bit frustrating right now.

Know that you are indeed a very special person, my dear big "sis" and that without you, my experiences here on jigidi would have been barren. It was you reaching out and enfolding me that allayed my nervousness in participating in this community. You know that you and dear Maggie will always be stars to me! (*wink*) Rest, re-group and do what you need to do to take care of the things happening in your life right now. I'm sure that you know that when you are able to return here, you will be greeted with open and caring arms. This I know from experience.

♫You just call out my name
And you know wherever I am
I'll come running to see you again
Winter, spring, summer or fall
All you have to do is call
And I'll be there
You've got a friend♫

You know where to find me, I'd love to hear from you any time, dear friend,

What a sweet thing to say! And, it sure is true about the curve balls. My smile, however, is getting a bit more like a grimace and I must keep what you say and wish for us in mind. That will truly help. Than you so very, very much!

I'm loving the theme of 'gobble till you wobble' . . . I think it may be my mantra through tomorrow!
Jan, you must know that all of us jigidiers will miss you in your time out, you'll be in our thoughts and prayers. Life wouldn't be life without curve balls, keep smiling no matter what. We're here for you !!! : > )))

Thanks so much, Rosie.
I say let them flirt all they want. Neutered is a good thing! Maggie is a shameless hussy, throwing herself to the floor and begging for belly rubs. She might not be the best influence on Spenser! LOL

Happy Holidays to you, my friend! :)))))

First, a big Happy Thanksgiving from Spenser and he likes Maggie's idea for a big drumstick---he tried grabbing one tonight as I was covering the turkey and putting it in the fridge to continue defrosting. And remember, you will be in my thoughts and prayers and my heart as you straighten out the curve balls or juggle those oranges in the air.

Spenser is sending lots of sloppy kisses and many winks to Maggie. He's only still a puppy so likes the thought of an older woman teaching him the ropes.

Happy Holidays to all of you---I will miss you muchly, Jan. Rosie

Maggie is totally afraid of cats. But, I will tell her Grace is a good cat! Thanks Katie! :))

Joyce - you keep taking most excellent care of Bradley, too! Give him a hug for me. Maggie is ten in January and she is getting a bit grey. I sure wish they lived as long as we do! Thank you so very much for your comments. I will very much miss you and your puzzles. I'll be back! :))

Hi Jan ~ I pray you can enjoy Thanksgiving and Christmas & New Year's!! You certainly will be missed, you're a big part of Jigidi, so try not to be away long. Prayers that your surgery will be an easy fix with a quick recovery and all those curve balls get straightened out in a hurry.
Love & Hugs
Joyce & Bradley too!! :)))

P.S. Grace sends happy purrs to Maggie too! :>)

Ardy - thank you, dear friend! Have a good time on Thanksgiving!

Hester - Thank you! Your quote is quite apt. :) Sending big hugs and pets right back to you and your crew. Even Growly! LOL

Can you hear that? It's Freddy and me pining. Haroooo! :-{
Dearest Jan, I shall miss your fabulous creations and the fun and banter that goes on here but, as John Lennon said "Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans". You just take care, recoup and come back refreshed and raring to go!
A very Happy Thanksgiving to you John and Maggie. Huge hugs (and soggy licks from the Feisty one! )

Maggie, I hope you get your share. Thanks for your greeting and Happy Thanksgiving to you. I miss your smiling face. To your humans - I wish you a happy day as well. Enjoy. Thanks Maggie (and Jan.)

Jim and Pat,
I can't tell you how much I will miss our "chats!" It is a very bittersweet time for me. There are several issues at hand. One of them is surgical, but nothing major. Life just seemed to throw a few curve balls all at once and they must come first. I will miss both of you and YOUR puzzles. When I can pop in for a comment and a solve, I most certainly will! Hugs to both of you!! Jan

Thanks for this joyful Thanksgiving greeting from Maggie! Wishing the best for her, you and John as we go into the holiday season Jan! I'll miss you and your beautiful puzzles dearly. Take good care of yourself my friend and come back when you can. Peace be with you!

Oh, Jan, I'm so sorry to hear that you will be away from Jigidi, and for such a long time! Whatever the reason, please know that you'll still be on our minds and in our hearts! We'll miss you--and your puzzles, of course! Happy Thanksgiving, and love and best wishes! And our Maggie (and Cassie and Beau, too) loves your Maggie's attitude! Yes!!! :-)))))))

And I am grateful to see your avatar most days and share in silliness together!
Of course, I will miss you so much! Take care of business and return as soon as you can!
(I hope I can survive two months without your great puzzles! LOL!)

Thank you so very much, GrandmaLucy!

OH my our prayers are going to be with you and do take care, see you later.
