Lovely little bush , thanks nan :-)))
I tucked it in near the front door, the house faces north so it is shady and being next to the sidewalk, the ground doesn't get as cold as the exposed yard. Keeping fingers crossed it will like it there!
Mine seems to be planted in the right spot (by my late hubby)....in the shade protected by the fence. 6 Years ago I got a similar one from a friend, it was beautiful and I planted it next to my Bonica rose (with the trelly fence between them) but it didn't even lasted for 3 months!!! Probably too sunny!I only think it's a pity the flowers bloom face down whilst they are so pretty to look at right into the heart of the flower!I hope your Hellebore will carry on flowering! ♥
Oh, this is so pretty nan. How nice to have these lovely flowers blooming in winter. ♥♥
I just hope this will carry on from year to year as your plants seem to do so effortlessly. It's my first Hellebore...
Lovely!... the leaves look very healthy too!♡My old plant has only one flower in bloom, but I hope when it'll be less cold it will give more flowers again.
