I make this cake every year during the Holidays.
I've made as many as eight from Thanksgiving, Christmas and the New Years Season.
There is a chocolate cheesecake with chocolate graham cracker crust bottom layer, marinated cherry filling, a whipped cream based yellow cake top layer. Frosted with whipped cream, grated dark chocolate on th side, spoked with whipped cream and a marinated cherry for each spoke or slice.

In the past, I have used up to three cherries per slice.
It did take me several attempts to get it to this point. I tries a regular cheesecake, then a milk chocolate cheesecake. I ended up using a ultra dark high cocoa chocolate in the cheesecake. That brought it to where I wanted it. As for the marinate, I've used different liquors. Godiva Chocolate liquor works great.

Somehow I think the slices will be holding 2 or 3 cherries, not just one! Sounds and looks yummy!
