LOL I wouldn't either. Brace yourselves for more puns, just glad Phil McCavity isn't up and about.

msbonne

I do not want the clap.

nanab

LOL - I'll add a clap to that!

Max_Tooney

The need to get that comment out of the way had been gnawing at me.

hippo

:::clap clap::: very good Max :))

Max_Tooney

No, but it does force you to chews sides on the issue.

msbonne

Is there a molar to that story?

Max_Tooney

To me, it was always the teeth. It's important during your screen test to make a good first dental impression.

msbonne

Back in the day it was hard to get ahead in Hollywood if you didn't.

Max_Tooney

Oh, so you think it had a bag job?

msbonne

Well, maybe after the airbags were added.

Max_Tooney

That Oldsmobile was going to be a STAR! And it had the best set of wheels in Hollywood...

msbonne

At least he got an offer.

Max_Tooney

(And his Buick shouldn't have knocked up the Oldsmobile; just sayin'.)

Max_Tooney

Serves him right; refusing the unrefusable...

msbonne

A terrible fate (having to wake up with a Buick grill in your bed). Some sights cannot be unseen.

Max_Tooney

Yes indeed. The Oldsmobile's grille ended up in Jack Woltz's bed, as I recall.

hippo

Max, is this Khartoum where your Oldsmobile went after expiry?

msbonne

I thought Warner Brothers made some very good Khartoums.

manicpuzzler

I have had comments disappear!

Fowly

Perhaps its a Khartoum. Thought i posted this 4hrs ago.

manicpuzzler

꒰•‿•꒱꒰•‿•꒱꒰•‿•꒱LOL꒰•‿•꒱꒰•‿•꒱꒰•‿•꒱

I will have a look for that Fay :))

Max_Tooney

"Khartoum, Khartoum!" (Jack Woltz, Movie Producer--'The Godfather')

msbonne

:::huff, puff, huff, puff:::

Did I miss the meeting?

Fowly

Do they also have a Khartoum??

Max_Tooney

Do go too Pharaoh up the road! Alexandria has called a production meeting in 15 minutes.

hippo

It is not really Aswan would think - they get tips...

msbonne

So they are really bad tomb? I cannot figure it all out mummies (but no daddies), semi-cats, triangular buildings with no doors, a big area meant for after dinner, but is dry and hot instead.

I really need a smoke. I would walk a Nile for a Camel.

Max_Tooney

The dam ashcans are even lower on the urn-ing scale.

msbonne

Tell me, is an ashcan like an urn?

Max_Tooney

Only during garbage time, when they're toting their dam ashcans to the curbside.

msbonne

They even repeat it to awomen too.

Max_Tooney

His followers repeat that mantra to Amman.

(Port Said...nice!)

msbonne

I do not know if it will. Alexandria, when drinking Port Said, "I do not care what they do, as long as I can have my Canali"

Max_Tooney

Clearly, this should anger them. I can't wait to Sea the Red in their faces.

msbonne

I do not think they have. I am mounting a law Suez against them. They have been in de Nile, but I will get all their asps.

Max_Tooney

Did they deserve that? I want to be sure they urn-ed it.

msbonne

I agree, but whatever it takes to Greece the wheels.

Max_Tooney

Wow, what a Crete-n!

msbonne

She used to, but Sicily turned a bit Mansour on Lady Gazas man, so they have not been talking for awhile.

Max_Tooney

Doesn't she also hang out with Sicily Tyson?

msbonne

I am. Her other friend Billy Ray Cyprus is as well. He is kind of a Turkey though.

Max_Tooney

She is? You can't be Syrians!

msbonne

Yes, she is a far left Libya. Just like her friend Jordan.

Max_Tooney

Lady Gaza? Oh, the 'stripper'...

msbonne

You should go see Lady Gaza. She might be able to help.

Max_Tooney

Those sands, especially this time of year, give me a massive Sinai headache.

msbonne

As the sands in an hourglass...…..

Max_Tooney

Yes, it could presage our last hur-Ra...

msbonne

There are simply tomb many directions going here.

Fowly

Thanks Maxy. Fayo.

Fowly

Bonnie, you mentioned liking beat up music and Mozart, I have an LP called Mozartmania and it is wonderful beat up Mozart. I’m sure you would love it too. You are all posting away happily while I am watching Survivor etc. so my comments are out of place. And now its goodnight time. Fay.

Max_Tooney

I haven't contacted Cleo since last Sadatday...

Max_Tooney

lol @ Aswan dive. Well played.

Fowly

Well, Max did mention flooding!!!

Fowly

She couldn’t find what she was looking for, so she did Aswan dive???

Max_Tooney

Well, the floodgates are opened now!

msbonne

She did not see THAT coming.

Max_Tooney

No, she should have contacted HIM. After all, SHE'S the psychic...

msbonne

He should have contacted Miss Cleo.

Max_Tooney

Surprising, with the flood of knowledge along the Nile.

msbonne

Yes, it was a shame, he could not asp the content of the songs.

Max_Tooney

So, you were there with king? Tut, tut!

msbonne

I do not know if Willie formed it or not, but I was there with a young lad whom everybody called king.

Max_Tooney

I remember it form the Sphinx Aida concert that Willie Nelson put on a few years back.

Fowly

The Triumphant March from Aida is very stirring. And its another tick please. Fay.

Max_Tooney

Ah, yes...Bernie Madoff. The good old days!

hippo

Indeed, the great Pharoah will drive you Mad off his curses. Or you may forever Bernie-n hell...

msbonne

The great Pharaoh Ponzi curses you.

Max_Tooney

Not sure about that Egypt story. I could be part of a cover-up, or even (dare I say) a pyramid scheme.

msbonne

Which, of course, was part of Asia before they decided to split off from the other landmasses and become Africa. Little known fact, Egypt WAS Africa. It was then determined that the area was too large to do the landscaping, so they reduced their size and created the small country of Egypt.

Stillmanic

And the answer is................Egypt

Aida is an opera in four acts by Giuseppe Verdi to an Italian libretto by Antonio Ghislanzoni. Set in the Old Kingdom of Egypt, it was commissioned by Cairo's Khedivial Opera House whose director at the time was Paul Draneht and had its première there on 24 December 1871, in a performance conducted by Giovanni Bottesini. Today the work holds a central place in the operatic canon, receiving performances every year around the world; at New York's Metropolitan Opera alone, Aida has been sung more than 1,100 times since 1886. Ghislanzoni's scheme follows a scenario often attributed to the French Egyptologist Auguste Mariette, but Verdi biographer Mary Jane Phillips-Matz argues that the source is actually Temistocle Solera.

manicpuzzler

I prefer up beat music, with lyrics Ardy. I think if I was to listen to classical it could only be Mozart and his  'Eine kleine Nachtmusik', as it is so 'light'.

I remember her Alias :)

Clever Sherry :))

well, at least the hole is kind of high...dive!!...Sherry :)))

The Cartoon reminded me of the Fat Lady from Harry Potter:

ringleader

Bonnie, I'm not an opera fan either but do prefer classical music. They are not one and the same in my mind. ☺ Thanks. Love the cartoon.

msbonne

Did I not mention Oliver? yes, that too was excellent.

manicpuzzler

I liked Oliver! Which was a surprise, I have only seen the film version.

msbonne

Many operas and musicals I find tedious. However, I am a fan of Weber. Phantom, Miss Saigon, Jesus Christ Superstar, etc...

Have seen phantom about 9 or 10 times, and Miss Saigon 4 times, JC Superstar 3 times.

manicpuzzler

ʕ๑‿๑ʔ

Max_Tooney

Haha, to each their own ;-)

manicpuzzler

I am not a fan of classical music, and opera gets on my nerves. Just screeching to my ears (I know, I am a heathen!!!)

Max_Tooney

I was dragged, kicking and screaming, to see 'The Barber of Seville' a few decades ago. I loved it, much to my surprise!

manicpuzzler

I don't know any opera :(

Fowly

I hope I’ve got it.

manicpuzzler

It does msb :))

YAY BB :))

nanab

I think I've got this one.

msbonne

Some say, if you dig deep enough into anything, the truth comes to the surface.

manicpuzzler

And a very deep pit Ellen!

꒰•‿•꒱꒰•‿•꒱꒰•‿•꒱LOL꒰•‿•꒱꒰•‿•꒱꒰•‿•꒱

msbonne

I dunno. That sounds fishy to me. How about a fin?

hippo

(but - shhh! - I know a secret way out. Very secret. Tricky but a few thousand palladium tipped perquisite points would grease the wheels...)

msbonne

Whew, I was concerned for a moment there.

hippo

Oh you will be! :))

msbonne

Here I thought we were meshing quite well...….

hippo

...and some particularly strong tranquillizer darts too...

Max_Tooney

It won't need to be too large. You have to take our net worth into consideration.

PutterDutt

Bonnie......we need a LARGE net for msb and Max!

Max_Tooney

And the Kroeans were watching every move made by BOTH.

msbonne

Yes, it was common practice back in the day. The Jpaanese would steal Chniaese words for names, and the Chniaese would make copies of everything the Jpaanese made.
