Well rfscudder, you're right, the theather markings!, i tooked this from a russian forum and missed that detail, i assumed south Ukraine near rumanian border or so...Thanks.
Great puzzles! But this shot is probably not on the Russian Front. Axis (German, Italian, Hungarian,etc.) Aircraft were usually adorned with very specific Theater markings. Your previous puzzle illustrates accurate Russian Front markings; the yellow fuselage and nose bands. These aircraft have what appears to be a white fuselage band, and sand camouflage, which would indicate the Mediterranean theater.
