Thanks. I spent 5 years showing these Clydesdales and every now and then we'd take them out on the road instead of practicing with them in a ring. We did take family and friends out in the wagon at Christmas time, and the sound of the clippity clop and the sleigh bells and the harness jingling can still bring me to tears years later when I hear it.
Thanks for posting! I can just hear the clippity-clop of their hooves. :-) I've been on many hay rides -- mostly hay wagons, and one hay-sleigh ;-) Many 'pick-your-own' apple orchards in our area will say "hay rides" on their website. I get upset whenever I find out it's going to be pulled by a tractor; they don't hold a candle to horses!!! I mean, it's not even close. On a scale of 1 to 10, tractor-pulled rates a 1 and horse-drawn is a 20, ha ha. No, seriously. :-]
