We really enjoyed Pictured Rocks, Marquette and Presque Isle and Fayette State Historic Park. We also liked Escanaba. The whole trip was a good one.

The UP is a beautiful area, PLG. I spent a ton of time driving through trees where I couldn't see much of anything but with a good set of knees I could have walked places like this.

My, Sugarloaf has changed! Actually, I saw the title and made an assumption. Did the puzzle, and only then did I read your description. I was expecting the Sugarloaf Mountain in Maine that I often skied many long years ago. LOL
