They also have various days during the summer at the Illinois Rail Museum that are dedicated to a specific type of equipment, including caboose, steam, diesel, and electric days. www.irm.org/
I just looked it up. It's www.hoborr.com.
There are also caboose rides at Hobo Railroad in New Hampshire. A whole train of them. I think they have a website. Something like hoborailroad.com, but that's just a guess.
There is train ride in Maryland( I think) that has caboose's for camping. They pull you to one of their sites and return in a week to get you.
This is indeed, a caboose. Used on the rear of trains for many years, until the mid 1980's, when it was replaced by a rear end telemetry device, and a smaller train crew. Thanks, matto.
There is a children's song "Little Red Caboose". I often sung it to my grandchildren. I enjoyed doing the puzzle.
