This week's Jigidi theme is "Doorways and Entryways ", so I made these kaleidoscopes from images of temple doors!

The images I used to make these kaleidoscopes are freely available on the internet. I use a variety of programs to make my kaleidoscopes, recolour the backgrounds and assemble them into a collage. Each collage takes around 2 hours to make.

It gives me immense pleasure making them, and I hope it gives you pleasure solving them. :-)

Thanks PJ! I'm glad you can see those elements, because I worked hard to make them come through. YAY!!! :)))

Thanks Katie! I can assure you though, that not everything pays off. I spend hours and hours putting images of new themes I've thought of through the kaleido maker , and they don't always work. But I think these ones did nicely, and I've now got a 3x3 to post of kaleidos of temple doors, and even more kaleidos not used for more 2x2s! And the colours are amazing! Not all of them are earthy like these. There are some gorgeous pinks, blues and greens! Who wouldda thunk? LOL

Your collections is beautiful and interesting, Kirsten. I can see elements of doorways, very nice.

I'll dial up the description to gorgeous! You're so talented at making kaleidos of all sorts of things Kirsten and I love these! The images are nicely detailed. Thank you ever so much. And I also like the tiny size sometimes.

Thanks Shirley!! I never imagined they would be described as "pretty" - I thought I would get comments more along the lines of "interesting". I'm thrilled that you like it so much!! :)))

These are the the prettiest Doorways and Entryways I have ever seen Kirsten, Thanks for another lovely set.

Thanks Pat!! I'm really pleased to hear that. :)))

Love the puzzle ... thanks Kirsten

Morning Ardy! Sorry about the similarity between the yellow and the bronze. I played a lot with the background colour of the bottom right - and wanted to use a more browny tone - the "cocoa" colour which is in the image itself. But it just didn't look right. The bronzey tones seemed to work better with it.

And it's a learning process, this puzzle-making stuff. All you can do it keep trying things, and seeing how it comes out. Although, ultimately, it has to suit YOUR eye. Thanks for my goodnight hugs - I think I'll be putting them to good use soon! Hope you have a great Monday. ((HUGS))

Good evening, Kirsten. On top for a brief time When I get to the big one later I think the background between the yellow and the olive green are quite similar in the pieces. But I shall be back. Thanks.
Even though your are younger than I am I'm guessing it will take a few days to adjust that body clock when it comes to bed time. Thanks for your comments on the cows. The montage puts a white border on each picture when you load it but gives you the option of removing it which I did and shouldn't have. I'm not real good at the resizing bit. I haven't gotten it to do what I want it to yet. I have to put up with what it's willing to do. :-))) So much to learn.

Have a good, restful night, my friend with the best of relaxing dreams. Loving ((HUGS))
