Interesting, David. I understand about the driving in snow. It seems that over the summer we forget how to drive in it, and every year it takes a little while before we get the hang of it again!

I like to see snow and it is becoming rarer over here, it seems. We last had proper snow two years ago when we got a blast direct from Siberia in late February. Before that we hadn't really had any for five years. This is in my part of England of course, other areas would have had some.

The problem with snow over here is that people don't seem to know how to drive in it and the roads just grind to a halt even after a dusting!

That's pretty and today is the official start of spring. We have just finished the mildest, wettest winter I can remember.

Thats basically 100% more snow than we had total this year. Never seen anything like it.
