The Jamboree was my life for years, but I also hiked many miles through the Eldorado National Forest. Loved growing up there. Left more for political reasons than any. Been gone 24 years and we are living the dream, fishing, hiking and camping Idaho. Loved your pics, brought back a flood of memories. At least if you live in California, you have the best of it.
@grandmapegs Thanks for your keen observations. I prefer to camp and fish rather than boony crash through the forest. Never did the jamboree but have taken some challenging roads to campsites. We might have met. I had two young kids when you lived here. ;-)
JUba, I asked because of the photos you have made into puzzles. I was born in Placerville.
Some day light rain and a dry evening with sunbeams under the clouds just over Mount Rose :-D
Not really. Been raining a lot. The little snow we’re getting hasn’t stuck. But a few miles east it’s sticking. Glad I’m not on the back side like you are iceng. You might be getting more. :-)
Sure has been snowing for days ot there ;-)
Not too much. Got street tires on my Subaru. After this winter I’m getting more aggressive tires on my outback. Thanks for finding me Peg. :-)
Juba do you four wheel?
So glad you enjoyed it Pam. :-)
Thank you for interesting photo and puzzle, Juba.
That’s actually snow flakes. They can take it though. Thanks for your comment Driftwood. :-)
Looks like the poor dogwoods got some ice pellets, too...Brrr!
Thanks iceng. There are houses all around but also lots of really big trees too. Doug fir, ponderosa pine, sugar pine, incense cedar ,and dogwoods which are still blooming. (-:
Good looking forrest :-)
Thanks Ellen and iceng. Yea mine’s not sticking either. I’m close to Hwy 50. :-)
We had some nonstick snow in Reno and full chain controls up in the Hwy 80 pass..
Odd seeing snow when you also have green leaves! Interesting shot, juba.
@reflexlady my house today. :-)
