I thought she looks really well and happy in this photo of her, littlebuttercup, and the turquoise certainly suits her. Pleased you enjoyed the photo too. :)
This is a really great photo of her. This hat really perks her up. And YET ANOTHER beautiful diamond brooch. Thanks, Nipper7.
I think her title now is Her Majesty The Queen, Cathy, and as soon as you move to Canada, she will be your Queen too. :)
I WISH she were our Queen too, Bev! I just adore her as well. Class and dignity personified. Happy Birthday, Your Royal Highness; you amaze.(Egads, did I get the title right?) :-)
Pleased you enjoyed this one, dragonlady7. :)
I'm sure she'd be pleased to be your Queen too, Bev,
I feel like she is my Queen too. I hope the Brits. don't mind me saying that. I love this lady. I do recall when she was crowned. I have two cups commemorating that wonderful day. Thank you Jill for this lovely picture. 4-21-17..11:50 A.M.
Our Queen was born 3 months after my mum, who died at the age of 85, and she married her husband a few months after I was born. She has always ben wonderful for us xxxx
I remember that too, ValerieBC. She certainly looks like she's got many more years to come. :)
I agree, Lin, she looks really beautiful for her age. :)
I remember hearing the announcement on the radio when her father died and "Princess" Elizabeth became "Queen" Elizabeth. Always been fascinated by the royal family. Hope she has a wonderful day and many more years to come.-Valerie
Nice tribute, Jill. I sooo admire this lady - and to me, she is now even lovelier than in her earlier years.
That's a great simile for her, Wendy, I'm sure she'd be very flattered. :)
Our Queen is the most amazing woman. Like the energizer bunny, she just keeps on going..........Wendy
I thought it was a great shot of her too, Lynette. Follow the link above - it's a gallery of 91 pics of her over the years. :)
She is a lovely woman and I love these colours on her Jill :-)
She certainly is amazing, liebling, and as you say, still so active. :)
She looks amazing and she is still so active, which I guess helps her stay so vital!~!
