Why are you reporting this puzzle?

I like to make people smile as you can probably tell by the puzzles that I post. Laughter is a lot like a stone being dropped in a calm lake. Once you drop it in, it will send ripples of happiness in every direction, happiness never decreases by being shared. To be kind to all, to like many and love a few, to be needed and wanted by those we love, is certainly the nearest we can come to happiness.

A smile starts on the lips, a grin spreads to the eyes, a chuckle comes from the belly; but a good laugh bursts forth from the soul, overflows, and bubbles all around.

Laughter will always be the best medicine, silence will always be the best revenge and love will always be all you need. Bonnie :))

I won't be around much until mid-May, packing and cleaning, chucking out unwanted 'stuff' for a move to our new home on 9th May. I will still be posting my 'weird fashion at 09:00 BST and answers to my Bamboozable, plus a new one at 13:00 BST.

Born in 1938, Miyake grew up in a Japan devastated by WWII, and his world was subsequently shaped by the clash of eastern and western cultures. After moving to Paris in 1965, he studied at the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture – working at Guy Laroche and Givenchy (and a short stint in New York at Geoffrey Beene) – before forming his own studio in 1970. Endlessly fascinated by the space between the human body and the clothes that encase it, Miyake frequently experimented with new fabrics and silhouettes – folding clothes in an origami-like style, or extending them far beyond the confines of the body.

They have also, very badly, 'hand painted' the fridge and freezer battleship grey! They are handing back the keys at 10 a.m. this morning to the agents, I am just about to call them to advise that I am not happy. Wish me luck!

Oh, Bonnie, I'm so sorry to hear that. I had the same experience years ago when I rented out my first home and got it back in a disgusting state. I kept the tenants' deposit to pay for professional cleaners.

manicpuzzler

Thank you Carolee, we get the keys back for my (old - long story!) new home today. The tenants have left it in a mess. There is mould on the walls and ceilings (I don't think they were good at opening windows for ventilation!), I am not a happy bunny - in fact I am quite devastated. I used to have it like a show house, absolutely pristine.

P.S. -- Good luck on all the sorting and packing and the move!

I'm a refugee from a Tim Burton movie.

Not gonna make it into the penguin colony.

feistyfreddy

Uh oh, now I've got the ear worm of Bear Necessities going round in my head! Hope I don't start rubbing my back on every tree trunk I pass today! ;-)

While Balloo the bear was sleeping she snuck in to try on his clothes. It'll be a while before you grow into those, sweetie!
