Thanks so much Alias, Bella and Janet :-)))
Yes I have seen this on our big highways Sissel, have never driven onto one! Thanks and hugs my friend. ♥♥
Waf waf woof, we call them 'spookrijders' and that means Gost-riders. ☺ We also have a 'go-back' sign. Sweet licks ♥♥♥
I met one once. Luckily all cars were driving in one line, the ghost driver was alone in "his".
In Denmark they have another name - Gost-riders :-))))) but we have no sign Thank you so much SueMarie, Neville, Peter, Ylowrostex and Bella. It is always nice too know if I someday travel "Down Under" :-))))
We have these, too, and they do serve a purpose—too many times, entry and exit ramps from the highways are confusing, and people try to enter by using what is actually an exit ramp. These signs let them know their mistake. There have been a number of accidents, including deaths, over the years on our local highways where drivers didn’t realize their error until too late.....But I do agree that it looks funny if you don’t know the background. :-)
Sissel, we have these everywhere here in Oz on our freeways. It's for people who drive backwards!! :-))) ♥♥♥♥♥♥
An elderly lady rang her husband to let him know to be careful as the news was reporting some idiot was driving on the wrong side of the highway against the traffic. The husband, on a hands free phone, replied what do you mean one idiot? There are hundreds of them!!!!!
if you insist i guess i will. too funny. thanks sissel. have a great day. : )
☺☺☺Good morning auntieSweet licks ♥♥♥
