enormous and beautiful, once said to be the tallest building in the world. have a look on Wikipedia, I got sidetracked by the boat and swans so it's in the background

I did look for a full frontal of the cathedral but this one got in my eye. Lots going on and a narrow boat which is always a winner. I like Durham Cathedral, been there a few times, now I am stuck in a wheel chair on oxygen all of my travelling is done through Bing, but we all enjoy our days out on jigidi.
