This is PJ's favourite from a 3x3 collage of kaleidoscopes made from images of bags made out of recycled food packaging, such as drink cartons and chip packets. I have even seen them made from old toothpaste tubes!! Which make for great toilet bags.

You can see examples of these bags here:

I posted the collage on 25 November and I make my kaleidoscopes and collages using freely available images and a variety of programs. A 3x3 collage usually takes around 2 hours to make.

It gives me immense pleasure making them, and I hope it gives you pleasure solving them. :-)

I know! I know very well, PJ. And I didn't know you worked full-time too. I don't know how you are managing to create, solve and comment so much!! Is your work a full-time Jigidier? LOL

You know - full time work and social contacts... So I try to get time for Jigidi as much as possible :-)

It's good to see you back, PJ!! I hope that whatever kept you away is nothing serious, and that all is well in your part of the world. And I'm also very glad that you faved this one, so that we could all enjoy it again. :)))

Kirsten - such a wonderful puzzle - love the composition and the colors. I'm also glad others liked it too since I was the only one to 'request' it. (Missed out on Jigidi yesterday.)

Oopsy! Sowwy! Send me your optometrists bill, and I'll do with it what I do with all of my bills........ leave it sitting in a big pile on my kitchen bench! LOL

Where was the "sunglasses required" warning??? Huh??? LOL :)))

Excellent - I have a whining partner!! Yay!! LOL. And I agree, Katie. You can always get warm, but sometimes it's very hard to get cool. :)))

I'll take this sunny one for my favorite of today too! And I'll continue to whine about cold and gray!!! I don't mind you whining about hot and dry in exchange. I can even give you a bit of an echo here: I want my spring and I want it NOW!! (Stomps foot!) I get some long stretches of temps in the 90s here sometimes and I can definitely feel your misery. At least when it's cold I can put on more warm clothes and turn up the furnace.

I'm glad Barb. :)))

And okay, I'll take the "get out of jail free" card. But anytime it gets too much, feel free to slap me down. LOL

No headache today, Kirsten. And after all you're hot weather, you are allowed to do some whining. I know I would. :-))

I saw, I saw Gail!!

Yup, they are a mixed bag today, Barb. I was explaining to Hester over on the "sister" puzzle to this one, that sometimes I have a whole bunch of ones and twos, that I can't post with the others from the same puzzle. So you will occasionally see these mixed bags from me. And I'm glad this one will brighten up your day. I would gladly take your weather though. We so badly need the rain, and I so badly need some cooler weather!! I'm over it!! Although I just realised that I'm starting to sound like a stuck record. Do excuse my whining. And I hope you've woken up today fit and well, and not bothered by a headache. :)))

Look at all those stars on the board. I'm last and will drop off soon, so look quickly!

Hard to decide on a favourite today, Kirsten ... took me a minute to realize that they weren't all from the same collage. But because it rained here yesterday and we are to get more rain today, I'll choose this one for it's sunshine background and lots of cheery colours in the kaleido.
Just reading about your awful temperatures. You've really had a long, long, hot summer. Don't know how you can stand it. I would be more than happy to send some cooler weather your way if I only knew how. Stay cool and sweet dreams. :-)

You're welcome Ardy. :))) And today was the worst of it with 36 (97), but it's not quite done with us yet. They are saying that it will still be 30 (86) at midnight. It won't actually get cooler until the cool change hits mid-morning tomorrow. I think it's going to be one of those strange days where the overnight temp is hotter than the day time temp!! Weird, huh? So I think we'll be camping in the lounge room tonight. I'll be popping out in about 30 minutes to check the temp outside. But if it's still torrid, camping it is! LOL

It's a bit of a mixed bag, isn't it Hester? I had a few bits and bobs faves left over that I hadn't posted yet. Sometimes, when all 9 kaleidos are faved from a 3x3, I separate them into two lots of four that all hang together nicely, but end up with one swinging. So I've been holding them over until I can post 4 of them together. So today was the day! And I think they worked OK. :)))

Lovely, bright puzzle, Kirsten. Thanks for the fun. I see you have survived your extra hot day. I do wish you could be comfortable at night. I could endure the heat better if I had had a good night. For the many years before there was A/C in my library it was not uncommon for temperatures to be in the mid-90's (F) in the room during the school day. I had ceiling fans and doors and windows open for any little breeze. That also brought in bees, birds and other critters. Not fun.

Great variety this morning, Kirsten! Thankyou for the fun! :-))
