For me, unfortunately, it's not hard to focus my criticism on just my own government....As to the ratification of U.N. treaties and conventions, our Congress has been the consistent problem, as they are the body who has to vote in favor. Another sigh....
Judy, as a Canadian, I could boast that we have signed a whole lot of feel-good documents that your president has declined to sign but, as long as the children of many of Canada’s indigenous people can’t drink clean water, have access to proper housing or education or health care, I think I will just refrain from criticitizing anyone but my own government. Sigh ...
The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child has been ratified by every member nation except the U.S.A. The most recent nation to ratify it was Somalia, who did so belatedly due to not having a government.
You are welcome Cyndi! I am indeed enjoying the sunshine :)
Another amazing painting with a very powerful message. I thank you for bringing this awareness about through your puzzles. Enjoy your hot temps today! :)))
