AH! Another fellow historian - glad to meet you Janisjer. :) I am ambivalent about our US history. We do have a great nation, but I also feel so badly about how the Native Americans were treated. :/ Anyway, glad you enjoyed it as much as I did. ;)
History! wonderful history. A lot said in this painting, from horses & wagons to their dream to the rockets and the stars. Did they ever image! as they looked up, sure they dreamed, that's why we are where we are! Thanks for the painting , the subject is grand and the colors. Thanks.
