So beautiful aren't they, Mary ? I'd love to see live ones. Julie.
LIKE A PEACOCK WITH A FANCY TAIL BUT INSTEAD IT IS ON THE BIRDS HEAD. I NEVER SAW SUCH A BIRD BUT GOOGLED IT AND THEY DO COME IN DIFFERENT COLORS. ALL BEAUTIFUL.
GOD SURE MADE SOME AMAZING CREATURES! BEAUTIFUL. THANXMARY
@FosterMomMaria. I didn't know they came in different colors.
My favorite bird!
That's true. Weather is erratic. Drought here, floods there. We do well to be happy with what we have.
But we are so much better off than some of the world's population. A few months ago The Tampa Bay Times ran a heart-breaking article about the shortage of water in at least some areas of Madagascar. And there are other areas where water is beyond precious to humans & their needs.
Seems like we can't win, gogogo.
The coming of some decent rain to areas of Florida is a welcome event - can understand your feeling excitement, julie88. :-)We've had some rain, too - enough so our lake/pond is looking a little "wetter" now. :-)However, the sun dries up that "wetness" so quickly, without daily rain.
Yes, this crest is amazing. Thanks for stopping by honeylemon.@gogogo We had three days of rain and I got all excited, but it's gone again.@
that is beautiful !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'd love to see their faces.
I could go outside right now & do an impromptu rain dance, I guess.Probably won't - it might scare the dickens out of my neighbors -lol
Guess we'll have to keep praying.......
Not a good start to your morning. And not a good omen for the state in general. :-(The local weather person is telling us we have no rain prediction at all for the coming week - I hope that will change in the next day or two.
@gogogo. Amen to that. Smoke smell woke me at 4AM. No rain and high winds are a bad combination.
Thank you. :-)Let's enjoy our lovely Florida weather this weekend, but pray for much-needed rain.
Love your avatar, fellow floridian.
Enjoyed this puzzle - thank you. :-)
You're more than welcome Mary.
Hi Julie. That's a flashy little guy. He looks like he's heading to Broadway, or maybe Mardi Gras. It was a fun puzzle, thanks.
Thanks for your visit and comments, Maria.
wow! wonderful photo & a cute bird :-)
You're quite welcome, Lin.
OOOOH, MY...Goodness!!! To put it mildly...that is one eye-catching, gorgeous bird!!! Many thanx, Julie! ; )))

Beautiful little creature!
You got me, megabelle. I'll do it! Thanks
Sadly no, megabelle2000. My brother sent me this picture. Isn't he pretty. It's like he's wearing a crown.
What a wonderful puzzle. I love this bird, never have I seen such a creature. Thanks, Mary
Thank you julie88. Very unusual bird.
Nice one julie! Thanks.
Beautiful and so unusual! Thanks for sharing.
This bird is a doozy! I've never seen anything like it. It's awfully pretty, tho. I'll have to read and see what he's all about. He could definitely pass for royalty. Thanks julie88.
Great puzzle. Thanks.
