I taught elementary school. Started in 5th grade for five years, then 4th grade for 2 years, 3rd grade for ? years, 2nd grade, then looped 1st and 2nd grade for 8 years and then finished in 2nd grade the last 12 years. Total of 34 years. I'm not sure what grade my sister taught, but it was elementary school and for most of her career she was the school media specialist. I've been retired for 11 years, but this spring started working one-on-one with at risk first graders in reading. I love it!
Gail, I taught physical education for 40+ years. What did you and your sister teach? Kathie spelled with "ie" was rare, but now not so much. Thanks for visiting with me.
