There are several "Zwarte Zee"s. They retire one then rename the next generation with the same name. She had lovely lines and was my favourite! :-))
This is a tug I read about many years ago. I don't remember where. But the name is very familiar.
Thanks, Kathy. I know that all will be OK!! :-))
Oh this is very encouraging news! I remembered you talking about your history with cancer and of course that crossed my mind; will look for your report Tuesday!! :-)))
I feel fine today, thanks, Kathy.I had cancer 5yrs ago and had 10-11hrs of surgery and 3 follow-ups. My visit to the dentist made me think that it had returned (by the look on his face). After one day's tablets, things have improved dramatically, so I think I was worrying for nothing. I see him next Tuesday and will let you know. Thanks again for the support, it was much appreciated!! :-))))))
Thanks, Phyllis. I'm sure there is nothing to worry about. I will keep you informed. I hope you had a good Christmas and New Year with the family. If you want to talk about Len, please do, and, if not, I understand. I think of you both! Hwyl John
Wyt ti'n iawn? [I have to confess I used a Welsh dictionary John] I don't like to hear that you have some problems, John, may they be little ones Ia? It's not always easy to share things online, but I really hope and pray that you are ok. Let me know how you are Iawn - Phyllis
Thanks for that, Kathy. Re:- bad news - nothing definite at present. Fingers crossed time. I'm sure it will be nothing. When I wrote the comment to Phyllis I had just come back from the dentist and was feeling a bit down. I'm fine now. Good to have my Jigidi friends though. I'll keep you in touch, Kathy!! Thanks again :-))
Correct, John - we are landlocked here though there are some significant rivers.I don't like hearing that you have troubling news. I'm wishing the best for you - don't hesitate to go into detail, although I understand if you prefer not to.Your friend,Kathy
Been thinking about you and Len. I hope you are doing OK!Like your new photo!! :-)) I've had some worrying news myself, today, so I'm glad you "called". I've been on many tugs, Phyllis, but this one was my favourite. She had lovely lines and accommodation. I've never counted how many I've been on. An interesting project. Sometimes I put "One of my old firm's tugs" - this means that I've not served on them.Hwyl, Phyllis.
'Blwyddyn Newydd Dda' John! hope that you had a great Christmas and you spent it and New Years with friends and family. John just how many tugs have you been on?
Hi, Kathy. Happy New Year! These were the type I worked on most of the time. They are ocean-going/salvage tugs. They are much larger than the harbour tugs you are, probably, thinking about. Don't suppose you need many tugs in Colorado? LOL
She's good looking! Is this rather large for a tug?
