Our beasts reset every half day and bark me ;-oo
You ARE a wise woman, my Friend! :o)
I also keep a large bowl of dog food in the kitchen (it holds 15 lbs) so they can eat whenever they want to. The only time they wake me up is if there is an invader.... sometimes animal, sometimes human. Their fate is usually the same. Once a person has been invited in by me, they become family to the dogs, and can come and go freely. So I'm very choosy as to who I invite in.
Perfect! If Green is hungry, he barks. If he NEEDS to go out, he jumps on me. Either way.....sigh......
Since we have a dog door, they let themselves out when the need to, and let me sleep as late as I want to.
Oooooooooooooooooh! If yours don't bark me awake at 4:15 AM, may I come by myself???
I have a nice guest room, Ellen. And dogs are welcome.
I WANNA DO THAT!!!! :o)
Or come visit me in Kentucky and play with mine.
reflexlady, you can Google Gypsy Vanner images and admire them even more.... Sandra
Thanks so much for the information - I just love horses, and this picture
Love the black right around the eyes.
The markings on this boy fascinate me. The basic pattern is the tobiano pattern common in Vanners. Then the irregularity of the spots is due to the addition of the Sabino pinto pattern as well, rare in Vanners.
The Grand Vanners can get much bigger. They can get up to 17 hands. They're big horses.
No, it's not. The smallest ones are only 12 hands tall. Pandora, my other Vanner, is 14.1 hands.
Really? Isn't that small for a Vanner?
Gypsy Vanners are heavy horses, but they're not tall as a general rule. My Whimsey is only 13.2 hands tall, just slightly taller than a pony.
My gosh, this horse is just lovely, rl - the large breeds are magnificent - thanks for this one (❀ᴗ❀)
Perhaps a Fresian.
Yes, to both descriptors :-D
Looks like a Gypsy Vanner. Is it? It's gorgeous.
