Aw. Thanks Jerri! (❛ᴗ❛)

yes, but what they say....."It's an oldie....but....a goodie.."

Gosh, Jerri. Such an oldie! More than ten years old! I'm glad you enjoyed it, even though it's "vintage" now. And I like the rug idea. (❛ᴗ❛)

I agree with you Iris, this would make a very nice area rug. These colors are great.

Great idea! You've got such a great imagination, Iris. (❛ᴗ❛)

This quilted eye would make a sweet area rug. Grins! !❉✲(✬◡✬)✲❉

WOW Paddy. That scenery looks amazing!! I'm sure you will have a fantastic trip. And thanks for the offer of help with itinerary planning and places to stay. I'm not sure when I will visit your beautiful country, but I will be sure to come a knocking when I do! (❛ᴗ❛)

RandomWorship

OK! Sounds good! I hope you don't charge commission for personal itinerary planning. LOL Can I pay you off in puzzles? (❛ᴗ❛)

I like being on the water - so I guess I do like boating! A friend's parents had a house on the water's edge of a huge lake here - and had something they affectionately called the "booze barge". It was like a big pontoon, but with an outboard motor, and a hard canopy. It had a "kitchen" inside and you could sit on the deck, under canopy or on the roof of the canopy. Or the best spot of all, in the cargo net attached to the side. Trundling around the lake at low speed, wine and cheese, a spot of bathing - what's not to love? (❛ᴗ❛)

RandomWorship

Maybe. I'll confess to being pretty bloody ignorant of NZ! And would have to do some serious research before organising a trip!! And nope - no cycling! I'm not as physically fit as I have been, but even when I was - cycling was never my thing. I can walk though! Like crazy! LOL!

Hmmmm. Outdoor or indoor? In terms of accommodation - I guess I'm more indoor. Although I'm not adverse to camping when I'm travelling and have loads of time. But I'm a great Mother Nature lover. So would want to check out all the beautiful scenery. In terms of outdoor activities, I don't think I would want to bungee jump - but I would be up for jet boating. And I've been parasailing and hang gliding and really enjoyed both, so those kinds of activities could be on the agenda. Hang gliding especially is amazing. It's so quiet (no engines), and you can just soar like a bird! I did it over the lighthouse at Byron Bay (east coast of Australia) and it was wonderful! My most favouritest (!) experience with Mother Nature was snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef though. It's like being immersed in a 3D fantasy garden. It's extraordinary. If you have never done it yourself, I really recommend you do. Soon. Before the idiots in charge kill it.

And I'm not adverse to a tipple. So Marlborough would definitely have to be on the itinerary!! (❛ᴗ❛)

Oooh. Dunno Paddy. I'd love to come over there at some stage. But no plans at the mo'. But when I make plans, I'll be sure to let you know. Would love some itinerary suggestions. And maybe the chance to catch up for a cuppa, or glass of your favourite poison! (❛ᴗ❛)
