Neither had I. I saw them on the coast. They’re pretty huge. :-) Mila

TFS, these are very beautiful I have never seen anything like these.

Juba1010

You’re welcome Fay. Glad you enjoyed this. :-)

Fowly

Not an invasive here in Australia. They are very attractive to bees and indeed are beautiful. Thanks for the post Juba1010. Fay.

niccolino59

These are amazing. Hard to think they are invasive as they're so beautiful. Never seen them before so thank you for sharing them.

Houston. Moved to California when I was 2.

Bluebonnet

Where? I was born in Houston and lived in Texas for the first 40 years of my life.

Juba1010

BTW- I was born in Texas , Bluebonnet. :-)

Bluebonnet

I do too. But Virginia creeper (athough it does often show up uninvited) is actually native to eastern North America.

Juba1010

Glad you liked this Bluebonnet. I really love the color of Virginia creeper in the fall! :-)

Bluebonnet

Wow! None of our invasive plants (central Virginia) are even pretty, much less beautiful!

Juba1010

So glad you enjoyed this dendro. Your landscapes inspire me daily. (((-:

dendro

fantastic! They could invade part of my yard. They would probably be annual here, though.

Juba1010

It took me a while too oynot. Like Jason says it’s about the relaxation. Hope this brought you some cheer.

Glad you enjoyed it Jason.

It's hard to blame something for being invasive, when it's so striking and beautiful.

One of my favourite Invasive flowers - a guilty pleasure.
