Just checking in to see how you're doing, Cheryl. Miss you!
Gail, I can't see well enough in this photo to be certain, but these could be birch or tamarack/larch. Birch do turn yellow and fall early. Tamarack or deciduous conifers and I am relatively sure that at least some of those in the front are tamarack whereas those further up the hill may be birch. Sorry to be so iffy. Barb, thanks - I know how you feel. I wish you and I could wiggle our noses and travel to each others' homes. At least we have the internet.
Gorgeous, Thank you for posting them Cheryl as I can never go here to see them.
Lovely. Are the bare trees aspen or birch that had yellow on them? It seems they drop their leaves first.
Thanks, Barbara and Pumpkin. As Pumpkinhead knows I love where I live - and this is just a fractional explanation of why.
Yes, it is.
